  1. Wow - gorgeous - where is two grand when you need it? 😀 GLWTS
  2. Used to have one of these - unbeatable basses for the money in my view! GLWTS
  3. Lovely bass and great price - unfortunately I've already got one more than my "permitted limit" 😜 Someone should definitely make a move on this. I had the brass JAN fitted to my Ltd Edition Thumb, and it sounds brilliant - very like the Stanley Clarke Alembic sound! (he says, preparing to be bombarded by Alembic fans!!) GLWTS
  4. Amusing ad and very nice bass - GLWTS 👍
  5. Nice one - the buyer will be very happy !
  6. Yes indeed this is gorgeous - the missus will be mightily relieved its got a string missing - wonder if I could squeeze one in ? !!! GLWTS - absolute beauty
  7. Two gorgeous basses - have a bump on me ! 😄
  8. Also, do you have the weight please. Ta 😀
  9. Sold! Thanks for looking.
  10. I guess you realise there is a "lefty" section in basses for sale - might get a wider audience. GLWTS 😀
  11. Nice video! Can u be more specific about the dings or provide a close up photo of them? You've got my interest!!
  12. Hi, thanks for the info. Absolutely gorgeous bass. I'm sure at this price it will be gone soon!
  13. Would it be possible to confirm the string spacing at the bridge, the neck width at the nut, and the weight Thanks David
  14. Final bump. I've noticed a couple of very small marks on the bottom edge, not visible from playing or audience positions (see last two pics), so price drop to £850. These are lovely rare (and very light) basses, so grab yourself a bargain!
  15. Pre-Easter bump - skip the chocolate eggs and treat yourself to this! 😄
  16. Absolutely beautiful - if my Warwick moves I might have to look down the back of the sofa for the rest of the cash!
  17. Ha ha! Thanks very much and totally agree with you, mind you without the missus, I reckon I'd need a house with stronger walls 😄
  18. Tuesday morning bump! Still available - one of only a few hundred made, super lightweight, and endless tonal possibilities. Fantastic slap tone with the elixir nanoweb strings and jumbo frets, but equally smooth and punchy played finger style.............not only that but it looks awesome! One more bump then it's staying in the collection, and I'll have to persuade the "boss" to increase the quota to cover the one I'm planning on buying!!
  19. Thanks - it's even better in the flesh! 😄. Would also consider a straight sale......
  20. SOLD SOLD SOLD Looking to trade this lovely Warwick Thumb Ltd Edition "Dirty Blonde" 4 string. It is in really great condition with only a couple of small marks, on the underside (see last 2 pics). Frets have little or no wear, although the fretboard could do with a clean. The screw head on the top of the neck pickup has lost its black paint, and there is slight wearing of the "MEC" logo on the pickup but that's it! Specification is: - 34" scale. Gull inlays - bass number 6/261 made in Germany in 2006 - rear of headstock signed by Hans Peter Wilfer himself - birds eye poplar top with matching headstock. - 19mm string spacing at the bridge - 3 band EQ with active/passive bypass - Elixir nanoweb light gauge strings - weighs in at 3.6kg (yes, really!) I'm looking to trade it as I'm playing 5 strings almost exclusively. Looking to trade for: - the same bass in 5 string. - Spector USA 5 strings (must be "natural finishes" ie not colours) - must weigh less than 4 kilo! - must be in great condition PM me with any interest and if you would like more or different photos - thanks for looking - David NB - located Essex, but pickup in London (City) also ok
  21. Could you advise the weight, materials and year of manufacture. String spacing would also be great Thanks 😀
  22. Make no mistake, these are excellent basses and 9lb is light for a vette $$. I loved mine - awesome tone, great in the mix, and as for the thundering low B..... 😀 GLWTS
  23. Sorry, but can't really make much out from your phot picture! How many strings does it have, and what is the finish (black oil?) . The weight would be interesting too.
  24. David MacGregor is a top bloke. Just bought a really nice Shuker off him, in a very smooth transaction. I would say he is an "old school" type, man of his word etc, so would say you can deal in confidence 😄
