  1. Thanks Quatschmacher and Urban Bassman, I'll get back to you soon !
  2. Mint condition TC Electronic octaver, with original box, sticker, leaflet etc. Just not getting the use it should in a gospel/church setting!! Does one octave up, one down and two down and any combination of these. Lovey sturdy metal chassis. Not to be confused with the “mini” version. Retail price £107. As new condition. Will post at cost - probably another £5. You can also download custom/artist settings via "toneprint" - See TC Electronic Website: http://www.tcelectronic.com/sub-n-up-octaver/ Save yourself nearly £40 off the retail price. Check out my feedback here: Thanks for looking
  3. Very clear and thorough demo! Is the ramp removable without leaving marks, and what is string spacing at the bridge? Thanks

Just "wow"!! Has to be the most gorgeous Overwater I've seen! GLWTS
  5. Not surprised this went quickly - beautiful bass and great sounding. Love the gold finished strings to match the hardware !!
  6. Cheers Bill - I'm really hoping it will go to a good home soon - Jon's work is outstanding, and I was so impressed with this one that I got him to do a bespoke bass for me based upon it. Thanks again. David
  7. Message replied to - thanks for your interest. Still time for delivery for Christmas !!
  8. Thanks guys! It is indeed a steal, and I feel a bit bad selling it really - an equivalent new bass by Jon would be double the price. But needs must ! Get it in time for Christmas
  9. I'm in the strange position of having had a confirmed sale, and the buyer going awol with all attempts to contact having failed So the lovely Shuker is all boxed up and ready to go. It is yours for £1,050 delivered anywhere in the UK. I won't be too upset to unbox it and keep it, because it is a lovely instrument and has been my main bass for a couple of years, but I now have a new Shuker to my own specification so it seems wrong to keep 2 and TBH I could do with the funds. PS - Bob, if you read this do please drop me a note to let me know you're ok. Cheers.
  10. Need some cash, as the other half has bought a sculpture ? Attempts to convince her that bass guitars are "musical sculptures" have failed! Offers considered.
  11. Pics look good to me - stunning bass. GLWTS
  12. Yes indeed - it is 17.35mm but the Schaller bridge is adjustable - I believe you could go a little bit wider or narrower according to preference - maybe from 16.5mm to 18.5mm. Hope that helps. Drop me a PM if you need any more info. Thanks
  13. Weekend bump - only 1 week left - "sensible" offers considered (what does that even mean ??😜). Thanks for watching
  14. Just picked up my Series 2 from Jon. Buckeye Burl top with matching headstock faced front and rear , swamp ash body, maple neck and Birdseye board. Electronics are Aguilar DCBs with the East-UK pre-amp. I didn't want a cluttered rear, so no battery compartment but an active/passive switch on the front. The tonal range is huge. I got this after getting a Shuker 2 years back from Cotswold Bass and knew immediately that I wanted to commission something. Oh, and the rear control panel cover is cut from the body wood rather like Elricks or FBass. All round a stunning piece of work from Jon ? David PS - my existing Burl Maple Horn is up for sale here.
  15. I've owned two of these in recent years, a 4 and a 5 and must say that is the nicest top I've seen. The sound from these basses is awesome! GLWTS 👍
  16. £1,200 inclusive of fully insured shipping within the UK. £1,050 delivered fully insured With considerable reluctance, this lovely Shuker bass is up for sale - I've just taken delivery of a new custom buckeye burl bass from Jon Shuker, and at the same time, a Warwick bass I have always wanted is up for sale here!! So on the "one in one out" principle (being one of the joys of married life !) this one has to go - well probably unless I can pull a rabbit out of the hat. If you're reading this you know all about Jon Shuker's amazing craftmanship and you can see this bass on his website near the bottom of this page: http://www.shukerguitars.co.uk/bassstock.html - 34" scale with 17.5mm string spacing (adjustable) at bridge - Seymour Duncan pickups and EQ with pull/push for "slap" tone - Schaller adjustable bridge and Gotoh tuners - Beautiful 5A Burl Maple top over Alder body and stunning flame maple fingerboard - weighs around 8 1/2 lb, so light for a 5 string Shukerhard casemade by Hiscox. Excellent condition, very well loved and looked after. The tone from the Seymour Duncans is outstanding Drop me a PM if you would like more info/photos. Sale only David
  17. I'm saving all my pennies as quickly as I can 😜👍
  18. You've got PM and a bump on me!
  19. Hi - did you do the pickup work yourself and are the connections all soldered or screw fit? Cheers
  20. Whoa! That it fabulous playing and a really tight drum/bass partnership - your band has a great vibe - I'm gonna download the album!! Good luck with the sale - lovely bass 👍👍
  21. Corrr! What a bargain!
