    That chip will touch in and become almost invisible with some black guitar paint. Lovely bass - if I didn’t have a 5 string P with an MM pickup on the way! GLWTS

    Great idea ! So I downloaded Chrome to the iphone and the thumbnail pics appeared, then "signed in" to Basschat and the thumbnails disappeared! "signed out" and they were still gone ! They re-appeared briefly after closing and re-opening Chrome after signing out, but now whether signed in or out the've gone in Chrome 🥵 and nothing seems to get them back Grrrrr!

    Thanks guys - still no joy. Tried hiding and unhiding thumbnails and am in “expanded view” but still no joy. I’m loathe to “clear all data” in iPhone settings but might have to try that. this is what my view turned into a couple of days ago; Cheers

    Hi - yesterday my phone (iPhone) stopped displaying the pics when browsing “for sale” forums. Any ideas how to get these back and yes I have “restarted” my phone 😂😂 everything’s fine when using other, ahem, bass forums ! thanks

    I'd have to kill you if I told you!! No seriously, they do just turn up from time to time. A US dealer told me that sometimes when a CS bass arrives at the dealership the case has small damage (they aren't that well built TBH), or the buyer doesn't want to pay the extra, and in the former situation Fender send a new one........

    Bought a lovely Custom Shop Jazz bass case from Mustapha - shipped from Spain to UK and as expected incurred the usual import duties. Case was well packed and I'm delighted with it. Recommended to other basschatters! Thanks Mustapha David

    So I managed to get hold of a custom shop bass case and here it is!! Very pleased although in all honesty I’ll be using a gigbag most of the time!!

    I do not need another Shuker, I do not need another Shuker 😂😂 Fantastic basses and this one looks sublime! Weight and balance great and they play beautifully. This one represents a huge discount over a new one - GLWTS a although I doubt you’ll need it !

    Ok, so after further information, this is definitely for a Precision Bass and a lovely original Custom Shop case it is. You can't buy these separately and they only come with custom shop basses, I think at a cost of around £300. I bought it thinking it would also fit a jazz bass, but now its pretty obvious with the neck support straight up the middle that it will only fit a P Bass - Doh !! The search for a Custom Shop Jazz case continues - meanwhile you P bass owners, get yourself a lovely hard case. I don't know, but suspect it is most suited to a 4 string P. PM me if you need more info.

    That’s really helpful - thanks! Yes my jazz basses are 121/123cms long and a fair bit wider! Silly me! I’ll change the subject to “P” bass case. It would clearly be far too long for a guitar. Thanks again.
