1. Here's another source http://www.designacable.com/live-stage-leads/midi-cables.html
2. The bass line for All Right Now has no notes until you get to the chorus.
3.
It's the other one I'm trying to figure out lol! Ah well, might message him on Facebook and see if he can tell me! Can you remember the name of that Brazillian drummer? That guy was a monster!
Cleverson? Yeah, a real beast.
4.
Was anyone in the Scott Devine masterclass on the Saturday? What were the 3 tunes they played? I know one of them was a Meters tune but the other two I have no idea but the riffs have been stuck in my head ever since!
The first one was Look Ka Py Py, the last was Chameleon. Can't help on the other one I'm afraid.
5.
Maybe the Linda Ronstadt version?
Or possibly the Linda Peters (aka Thompson)/Sandy Denny version on The Bunch album (basically Fairport Convention + mates)
6. I think you picked the number one already.
7. These do it for me
8. Much as I love Lindisfarne, I could never understand why they did this one
9. From the TOP facebook page it looks like Marc is the more seriously injured. David was "lucid" and expected to recover, Marc had to have surgery to stop internal bleeding and is in intensive care. Doctors are "cautiously optimistic" according to Emilio Castillo.
10. There can only be one
11. Billy Bragg - Levi Stubb's Tears
12.
In fact, if you type in "Guitar money box" there are loads. Unfortunately I can only find one Bass, and that's a R**k. http://www.ebay.co.u...TUAAOSwA4dWIiqk
It's probably a fake
13. It all rather depends on what you want to achieve. I've got one, and beyond changing the strings and giving it a good setup, the only thing I'd do is refinish the body (I'm not a great fan of relicing, but for the price, the bass was too good to pass up).
14. Interesting. I've got a similar one. Same colour but a maple fret board and volume, tone and pickup selector switch. No way I'd sell it though.
15. Didn't see them mentioned above. Little Feat are always worth checking out. https://youtu.be/S1AWV3F8muI
16. I think these sum it up https://youtu.be/DtZR3lJobjw https://youtu.be/ew6rVcL3Up8
17. Jack Casady on Hot Tuna's Candyman or Danny Thompson on John Martyn's Solid Air
18. Standing In the Shadows of Motown https://www.amazon.co.uk/Standing-Shadows-Motown-Legendary-Jamerson/dp/0881888826
19. Shouldn't it be fretless if you're channelling Rick Danko? Looks really rather nice. (And @wateroftyne - That was a really appalling pun. Respect)
20. The 3 that would always be in my list would be: Danny Thompson James Jamerson Jack Casady The other 2 places would vary from week to week.
21.
Oh yes! I heard that once he did a gig somewhere and every time he tried to play a different song the audience started throwing things so he ended up playing Spirit in the Sky dozens of times.
And in a similar vein http://youtu.be/aVSTr7rb1_Y
22.
Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters, based on the German airforce buying the Lockheed F104 and Lucky Leif and the Longships, based on the Vikings discovering America first, both by Robert Calvert.
Also "Hype"
