2. Mine.
3. Today: T.C. Trinity reverb out, MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe in.
4. It is never complete... Nice boards lads. The M9 with a proper dirtbox and vtbass DI is well thought out. Basically the same line of thinking with the Zoom Multistomp (eventhough I am not a fan of Zoom at all) with that Boss OD.
5. Man the combination Duality + B7K KILLS! Totally worth the money imo.
6. Sweet board! Does that Philosopher bring lively crunch? I considered purchasing one a while ago but hesitated. Here's my latest attempt at an fxboard (I have a dualband comp in my amplifier):
7. Heartwood is a reddish brown. Well defined sapwood is a pale yellowish white. Color tends to darken with age. Pieces containing pommele or blistered figure are sometimes sold under the name Afzelia xylay, which is a shortened version of the botanical name of a particular Asian species, Afzelia xylocarpa. Afzelia is on the IUCN redlist and is now an endangered type of wood. Expect to see it disappear from many catalogs, much like Boire has.
8. 1524T cab got tweetered and stuffed with foam today for a tighter tone. Eminence tweeter (APT80), LPAD and 12db/oct filter @ 5khz. I am very happy so far, tweeter is nice and transparent in the now snappy tone. Have to dial in the Lpad further or use EQ above 5khz to make the tweeter go all Marcus Miller on me (which I do not want).
9. No. Hang in there bud! Bass lines do grow on you while you're sleeping. It will flow better tomorrow, once it has settled in your brain.
10. I own a Korean made Warwick and have owned quite some german Warwicks and can tell you the korean versions have probably been discontinued for being too good for the money. This beautiful star bass will be an amazing instrument to own and play. The quality is really top notch. With Thomann currently dumping korean wicks for insane prices atm (for instance a new streamer LX 6 is just 745 quid) it might be pretty hard to sell this right now for 950 though.
11. Don't play hard sh*t, play good sh*t. sh*t that works inside the music that is.
12. Wow! Makes me want to go hunting for an old 4001s. Enjoy that wonerful instrument m8.
13. I do recognize his talent and musicality and understand why it fascinates a lot of bassists, don't get me wrong. He was indeed one of the greatest ever. But music like the stuff he did in Weather Report etc. is just not for everyone. I can't listen to it (or any other jazzy stuff from that era) for more then 2 minutes or I will want to break stuff. It just gets on my nerves. Funny thing really, taste is. In the meantime here's "Modern Electric Bass for y'all to chew on".
14. Whut? I've heard and seen about as much Jaco as I can take. Boring! Can't get enough of Bobby Vega vids though. Man... DAT GROOVE!
15. Best amp ever. Built in x-over, both mono and stereo fx loops, handles 4ohm loads twice you you can hook up lots of cabs and believe me it is more then able to feed those cabs. I own both an RAH600SMX and AH400SMX. The blendable tube (valve if you like) adds some lovely buttery warmth to your tone and the dualband comp is deffo the icing on the cake. Please note that 600 trace watts do easily blow away other brands amps rated at 1200 watts or even more. Someone better go pick this baby up soon.
16. Still one of my dreambasses, that SS2-5 of yours. Not a huge fan of the Line6 BassPod even though they are very versatile little machines. Here's what the cat dragged in today over here:
17. DR fat beams sound really good on them, so do low riders. Currently I use EB hybrid slinkies which also sound great but do not last very long. I play dolphin pro1 and streamer pro-m five string basses.
18. They should come with two different neckplates, I threw the double F logo one on mine. Nice basses! The slightly slimmer then usual P neck profile is really nice to play. Good luck selling a lovely bass.
19. Twinjazz only makes sense as a bridge pickup. There's no use switching coils if they're gonna sound nearly identical to eachother.
