    I'm being cheeky too. I don't suppose you have a copy of the US bass player magazine from about summer 1995 (I think) called masters of funk? It had verdine white on the cover and a great article on funk players. This issue changed my playing life so to speak and I'd love a copy. I'd happily pay for postage and packing if you have it 😆

    I've always had my compressor before my OC2 and it tracks much better, I don't have any distortion issues with my Spector and it has a very powerful East circuit. For the tone your looking for, id suggest the EBS octabass, it tracks really well and very clean! Sometimes come up on here quite cheaply 😆 I really liked my old Aguilar octamiser as well, but still daft money.

    looks like bearfist has solved the problem! I use the diago boosters on either end of my gigman and they work perfectly, the also look exactly the same as the pedal floor, so job done
