1. Hey guys. Up for sale is my laney GH120C amphead. Solid state throughout, its pretty lightweight, 2 channels, reverb and chorus. The clean channel sounds pretty damn awesome/crunchy not like many Solid state amps. In overall good condition for the age, has a couple of tolex tears. Some of the pots sound a little scratchy when moved, contact cleaner may sort that out though. Reduced to £80 no offers ta. Pickup from Bristol only. Rob.
2. More RKL! They were on another level to most punk/hardcore at the time... Whether it was a "better" level is under debate!
3. Ok it starts off with drums, but the bass is out of this world. Lasts til 2:21 RKL are awesome, just wish they had a better recording process!
4. Haha, Ronz is a regular on the Neil Moser forums and insulted me on another forum. Myself and a number of people know hes a bit of a pratt as well. He has a pretty close relationship to Overwater I believe.
5. Last time I saw there was a nice Squier Jazz 70's style (Maple with block inlays) bass in the kingswood cash converters, about 170 I think.
6.
Just a pity that he's not playing live!
Ask and you shall receive.
7. Hey guys. Got a little oft seen Laney GH120C amp head for trade. In decent condition with built in footswitchable Stereo Chorus (Footswitch not included) Photos on request. I would like to trade either a 2x12 or 4x12 cab. 8Ohm preferably. Would also like some guitar effects pedals. Pickup from Bristol only. Rob.
8. Hey guys. Up for sale is a Boss AW-3 Dynamic wah. My particular example has a few scratches here and there, has all the original knobs. Its structurally and functionally sound. No box or instructions though. Pics of the pedal are available on request. Whoever buys this I would recommend getting an external expression pedal to get the ultimate in true wah sounds. The humaniser on this pedal is pretty amazing when acheiving human voice like sounds. Heres a sample. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOhCdBMs42g Trade wise I will only part exchange for a Boss FS-5U or other momentary footswitches. Price is £40 shipped. I am in Bristol UK and local pickup is fine!
9.
Guys, I may have to postpone this unless someone can help me out running it. I'm not entirely sure I'm gonna be able to make it. Please pm me if you can help. All you'd need to do is make sure music box get paid and that it all goes well
Anyone able to step up to the plate for this? I would but I wont be able to make it early enough as I am relying on a lift. Rob.
10. I really would love it! I dont think I can quite get that amount of scratch together though :S
11. A female front singer for that kind of band just does not do it for me. Your singer in particular is just not suited to the material, no grunt to the voice. You need someone that can move around the stage and communicate with the audience, she is unable to do this if she keeps reading lyrics from a music stand. Even if she knows some of the lyrics to some of the songs, she cant truly rock out just in case she forgets the lyrics without them directly in front of her. Sorry
12. Hey everyone. My band are looking for a drummer to play Post rock/metal in the vein of Maserati, Russian Circles, Irepress and Young Widows. We would like a talented drummer with plenty of skill, dependability and enthusiasm. We are in our 20's though age generally is not an issue. We are able to practice most days/evenings. Get in touch soon! 13. I already got all the 5vers I need thanks!
14. Hey guys and gals! Looking for a new band to join up with, my influences are Streetlight manifesto, No trigger, Wilhelm Scream, Strike Anywhere, NOFX, and Millencolin. I have top notch gear (Pedulla, Fender and Ampeg) and good attitude, backing vocals doable too! I am an able songwriter I play a bit of guitar on the side. I have lots of experience on tour, overseas and in the studio. Available most evenings. I am looking for either an established band or a new start up, however i am not interested in joining bands without drummers already lined up. My Email address is Anubispearl{AT}Hotmail.com Cheers! Rob.
15.
They will yes, there is an upcharge though.
An upcharge for less wood, makes zero sense.
16. Anyone know if they will custom build me a "34"inch scale 5 string bass? I only ever see 35inch scales.
17.
MB1. Wicked! Green L.E.Ds next? That would be 4 9V Batteries in it And free shares in Duracell
I would have loved green LEDs, but the finish would be chipped when the fingerboard get removed and due to the nature of the paint you can just touch it up!
18.
Gotta say, I thought you'd lost your mind when you decided to go for this, but it looks great! I've no intention of doing the same to your lovely old Pentabuzz though. As an aside, did my old Vigier get sorted out?
Hehe, I didnt get the Vigier sorted out, I sold it on to a good friend who was gonna give it a shot! I'll give him a bell and see if hes done anything with it. Also heres some very bad videos, with a very bad camera! If you are listening through a speaker system with Subwoofers, turn them off to get a better idea of the variation.
19.
Just waiting for some pictures and I'm almost definitely gonna have this. Can't imagine it not being for keeps either I'm afraid Rob. Unlike yourself I don't tend to part with many basses, particularly not all black, vintage US made beauties.
But your tone sounds the same whatever black vintage US made beauty you play.
20. Wasent this on Ebay recently? I sadly missed it! and I will have to miss it again Joe, if you aquire this i'll have it off you when you decide to move it on.
21.
Where did you get those Fenders from? Just from waiting around eBay etc etc or did you find a dealer somewhere? I want one!# Truckstop
The Jazz i aquired in a trade on Basschat, though it had a Tort guard, I managed to track down the gold guard from someone selling a Jazz deluxe with two scratchplates. I contacted the guy who bought the bass and bought the gold plate off of him. The P bass was on ebay a month or so ago. Guy I had to deal with was a total ass. I love em both though! Rob.
22.
Fantastic work there! One question though, where does the 3rd battery go?
In the big control cavity! Thats where the original single 9 volt went.
23.
Do you mind if I post a pic of this on my FB page?
Go right on ahead and give me a link!
