1. Is this one of the ones made from the lighter ply? Damn shame you cant post! Rob.
2. You cannot ask for offers, all for sale adverts must have a price.
3. Bump! Now reduced to £260 picked up, 280 shipped. FIRM.
4.
Or get 2 8ohm 6x10s to run with your 2x15 ;p
Give me the money and i will!
Whats the impedance of the barefaced 4? You could get the 8 ohm version an be fine running it on the 2ohm tap at 2.67 ohms I did it with my mesa for ages
Didnt think the SVT would be very happy running at that.
5.
SVT does 2 ohms, get the 2 ohm version
I am aware of that, but I wouldnt be able to run the Barefaced at the same time!
6.
Not really a true 4ohm cab think it's like 3.67ohms
Yeah i would need something pretty much exact if i was running through the SVT right?
7.
Nice. Im guessing no chance of 4 ohm versions?
Yeah i would need a 4 ohm version! Would be difficult with a 6x10 cab though.
8. Really dont like this, the original Genesis tracks were classics, completely ruined by the bass noodling, the guitar solo is what made that song.
9.
Hi - I'd be very interested in this but would need to run it somehow into my SWR SM500 somehow without having the SWR's preamp in circuit.......
Connecting it into your effects return socket should do it.
10. Hey guys. Up for trade is a Fender Tye Dye Strat, H-S pup config. In good overall condition with some swirls/marks in the finish, but nothing that can be picked up on camera. Low action with a brand new set of power slinkies on her. Comes with the trem arm. Apologies for the photos, but its really hard to get any decent ones with this finish! Collection is from Bristol, though postage is available. Rob.
11. Hey guys. My USA Jazz Deluxe 5 with Noiseless Fender pups has had a pre-amp change, from the standard Fender one to a J-retro deluxe. However since the change everytime i touch the pickup pole peices there is a large amount of buzz. Touching the bridge does not make buzz occur however. Only when i touch the pickups. With the previous pre-amp it required the pickup ground to go to a grounding pin. With the J-Retro the pickups are supposed to be grounded to the J-retro itself it is currently wired like this. These diagrams explain better. Rob.
12. Dammit, i was looking for one of these a few months ago. Oh well.
13. Really would like a set of those NFS 5 FE pups, but damn so expensive!

15.
would this fit any side socket jazz bass?, such as a certain white, cij 75ri four string for instance?
Shouldnt be a problem, the control plates look like they are the same. Though you could use your current control plate if its not an exact fit. The preamp circuit goes into the scratchplate cavity. Heres some photos.
16. Hey guys. Just bought a J-Retro Deluxe for my USA Deluxe Jazz bass, replacing the stock pre-amp. I will be running the J-retro on an 18volt circuit. I understand its probably a far better pre-amp. But why? What changes should i expect? Anybody with previous experience installing it into a USA jazz deluxe got any tips and came up against any problems? Its a J-Retro 01 Jazz Deluxe preamp. Cheers! Rob .
17. Hey guys. Selling the pre-wired Deluxe Jazz USA pre-amp that has come out of my Jazz Deluxe 2002 USA 5 string! Comes with the chrome control plate. Can only be used with side mounted jack basses. The pre-amp can be used for 9volt or 18volt circuits. The design of this is Fenders modified version of the original Bill Suhr Pre-amp that he made for the original Deluxe Fender basses. The only thing you need to do is to add a new batter clip and solder up to your current pickups. (I might be able to provide one battery clip free of charge) Anyway. Its in perfect condition and works 100%. The controls are, Volume, Balance, Bass, Mid, Treble. Preamp schematic is available here. 18. Hmm dont suppose you could give me some sound clips at high gain with a guitar? Need uber gain for death metal you see. Would you consider a part ex for my Ampeg SVT 2P. Not 100% on this but you never know.
19. How high of a gain is this guitarwise? Death metal?
