1. I would need some photos of em before i can convince the Mrs to take some.
2. Hmm, could be interested, we already have two though!
3. Good luck with this, it took them 4 months to ship the strings i ordered (I had to ring up and they claimed they never recieved the order), they got the wrong gauge, the wrong material and sent me 6 sets when i ordered 2 sets and charged me £130. Then they insisted i couldnt have ordered just 2 sets as they only sell them in 6 set batches and said i was wrong (Even though i have records to say that i was correct). They said they Shouldnt allow me to send the strings back as they had no use for them. I gave them what for outed them publicly on the major bass forums and all of a sudden I got an apologetic email a refund and an address to send the strings back. They even had the gall to tell me that they were the "Only company to offer such a service", funny that Status-Graphite, offer the same service, only fast, cheaper, accurate and with decent comms.
4. Hey guys. Selling a bass for a good friend of mine from way back. Its a 1989 Black Japanese Fender Jazz bass, it comes with both a tortoiseshell and a white scratchplate, comes with a well used hardcase. In good overall condition apart from a scratch on the back. Comes with the bridge cover but the pickup cover was lost sometime ago. Electronically the bass is in clean working order. Its currently in Birmingham, available for local pickup or postage at the buyers expense. £400, no trades please gents. Any queries please direct to [email protected] or ring Ben Buckley on 07793219173 Rob.
5. Sorry mate but you had it up "For sale" Then edited the post after i made the post and accuse me of being mistaken and that it was allways up for trade? Grow up.
6. As per forum rules you have to state a price. Please state a price.
7. Hey folks. Up for sale is this Roland Spirit 50, 1x12 combo. 50 Watts, made in japan, a couple of dings and slight overall scruffyness that can be expected for an amp around 20 years old. In good working order. Twin channel and great spec for the price. Looking for sale mostly £65 FIRM. May trade for effect pedals or part ex for something bigger. (With money your way.) Not in a hurry to sell. Pickup is in Kingswood, Bristol. Laters! Rob.
8. You MUST include a price with any for sale advert.
9.
I call dibs on the Vintage.
What the "Gay" Vintage with the Tweeter? No no, i would want both the cabs to run at the same time, not to replace!
10. Hmm if the 69er will be the same size as my vintage i may have to consider it! Though the impedence might be an issue :S
11. Gotta love TM stevens, crazy as they come! I would love a Warwick Chrometone 5 string!
12.
man your asking a lot for those guilds! especially as we can see one leaning up against a gas cylinder in the background of the sunburst pics... i'd be very interested at a fair price?
Well maybe if you actually read my post and my obvious feelings on the prices you would realise, i am not the one selling them and not the one setting the prices, also if the listing is now a little old. The basses are no longer for sale. Why would leaning up a bass against a gas cylinder effect the price on an instrument anyway? It was actually being held by the headstock from the owner of the basses ready for its photos to be taken. Please read theh thread fully before commenting. It is against forum rules to comment on pricing.
13.
I've seen these guys before - well worth a look for anyone in the area. The Blue Lagoon is a class live venue too, got a gig there tomorrow night!
Yup i used to be their bassplayer before they started gigging. Just got called in on this one
14. Well i'll be playing bass in this band tonight, had to learn the set in only a few hours. 2x45 minute sets with many covers such as, Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Chic, The Meters, The Commodores and more! Doors are at 9:00. Laters! Rob

16. Funds recieved, SOLD to Mzungu71!
17. SOLD pending funds!
18. Hey guys. Need to sell my P bass, I only recently purchased it from here but i cant afford to keep it any longer! Its a nice late made in Japan 80's P bass with rear rout electronics, real nice P bass grindy sound through my Ampeg. No issues whatsoever. In VERY good nick for an instrument around 25 years old, with few minor marks. Currently has a brand new set of Dean Markley strings. Comes with a serviceable hardcase. £330 FIRM, Bank Transfer or Cash. No trades, no offers. I would much rather the bass were picked up from Bristol and priority will be given to anyone who can, however i will post at buyers expense.
19.
Aren't you supposed to put a price?
Its for trade.
20. The last bass i bought was on August the 23rd. Which is a very long time for me! I have bought numerous upgrades to my current two basses. Hopefully i can hold out til i get a proper job!
21. Hey guys. I have a set of Fender Noiseless pickups, retails at around £120. http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0992102000 (Though the ones i am selling are the 5 string version) Came out of my Jazz deluxe USA 5 string, they do have some rust/dirt on the e string pole peices and the bridge pups "Noiseless" logo has been partially rubbed off, but the pickups are perfect soundwise. £40 posted. Bank transfer much preffered.
22.
That looks quality, does anyone know if we have to pay for customs when importing from the EU?? I thought it was the advantage of being in the union but i'm not so sure?
No VAT charge.
23.
Was there ever a fender one??
Yup! I had an old squier Katana guitar a long time ago, Japanese squier and only cost £100! Had all the playability of an early Jap squier, just in a pointy shape!
