OP - I got mine for the starting bid a week ago, It was totally worth the money, I say go for it! The pickups arent as bad as people say they are. However you may get a chrome hardware 6 string not the black it shows, Mine was chrome when it says it would be black, but NVM. ALso the strings that come on the bass are some Thick D'darios. Had to order an ultra light set for it. Rob. Ps., heres my thread on them. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=14862

Nice collection though.
Did have one with the full electronics, I know where it is though
The iron bird NJ looks gorgeous. Whats the weight balance like on these as I've never played on one. D
Not great, I moved the strap button to the neckplate area and its much better! The red NJ actually has gold hardware but has rubbed off over the years, I hope to regolden it somehow:)
That NAMM Eagle is stunning. I've been looking for an Eagle, lefty, for years, any suggestion? Cheers Steve.
Lol, Good luck! Custom shop i reckon'
 19. It was the Bailey brothers in Bristol. It takes them nearly forever to do a repair they are so backedup with work, But they charge 70's prices. I love them to bits. I am a very loyal customer so they charge less for me But they are still very cheap! Rob.
 20. Hey guys. I have finally gotten all my BCR's in one place to take a family picture. I have never been able to do this either because i have had new ones on their way or in repair (Mostly the latter as i have had problems of some description with every one of them! ) So without further ado, My family Singley, BC-Rich Eagle, USA NT Custom Shop 2003 NAAM Display Piece, Tobaccoburst, Quilt top, Mahagony core, Walnut stringers mahagony wings, Dimarzios, Full moser electronics, OHSC, Awesome bass, Thanks Lorne BC-Rich Warlock NT 5 String. Trans black, 2007, Had a bridge problem when it came in and had to be sunk into the body, Sounds great, Plays great, The only 5 string i ever liked! Thanks Larry from BSM! BC-Rich Ironbird NJ BO series. Late 80's Japanese, Aftermarket jazz pup installed, OHSC, Has quite a bit fretwear but will be getting new frets soon! This bass is the growliest bass i own, Both pups are allways on, it sounds like a fat Geddy Lee. Thanks Kev! (Dudewithstuff) BC-Rich Ironbird USA BO. Completely Stock, Bought NOS, OHSC, had a neck pocket problem but fixed now This thing is really clean for its age, It has very good balance considering! thanks to Sebastard! BC-Rich Eagle NJ series BO, late 80's japanese, HSC,When i bought it the headstock was snapped off in shipping and had her repaired. Completely stock bass. REAL nice player. No thanks to the asshole who shipped it with the headstock packed in too tight with bubblewrap! So there you have it! However the family have to be broken up tommorow again The Red IB has huge fretwear that has been noticable on all recordings (Every note on the Lower Strings Lower frets is sharp) So that will take a while to get sorted. But is well worth for that growly tone! Also there will be a foreign Invader in the collection tommorow, i take ownership of a Non BCR 6 string bass I love my BCR's Rob.
 21. Hey guys! Just got back from the shop, Shes ready! I put a new set of roto funkmaster bass strings on her and polished her up for a shoot. First of all a before pic. It was terrible, And i was really sad However, Its now back from repair, It took a few months, But there is a reasonable colour match and quite frankly i cant see any join where it was repaired, Its like a whole new neck! It feels really strong. And the cost of the entire repair job? £35, And thats cheap for rip off britain! It plays fantastic, Feels fantastic and looks like 100 dollars! Hows that? Rob.
 22.
Will be interesting to see how well they're put together. How much did you pay ?
£213, They have them on the cranes website for £460+ And yes this ones brand new.
 23. Just won a nice spalted maple top NT 6 string bass off of ebay. Its by the brand Hudson,. Though its a generic brand name, The body design is the same as the Curbow and is very similar to the Tanglewood canyon series. However this bass looks pretty sharp! I have allways wanted a spalted top. I hope it has the MM sound i am after! And considering its been a few months since i have had a 6 string i think its a wise buy, Full pics and review when it comes in! Its a marked diversion from BCR's but hell they dont make 6 string stock basses.
 24. Well the drummers in my band all usually hate me as i never look at drummers and never had the need to! I am right at the front stage right.
