1.
Hi folks I've seen these go for $3800 (http://www.marksguitarloft.com/picBrowser.php?id=1968basketweave1511 - not sure if it's a 1935B but same speakers etc and 2 years difference) so it's worth up to £2300, but essentially I just want to trade it for a great bass (+ cash my way depending on the guitar). Or I'd take £1500 plus postage.
You mean you have seen these for sale at that price, but did it actually sell? Pmed about the price.

 3.
everytime I see a 5 stringer I really want to take the plunge and get one. The stealth that you were selling had me itching to buy it, although I didnt have the funds at the time and was gutted when it went (and not to me). maybe once I learn how to use 4 strings I will eventually try a 5.
The Stealth bongo was a nice bass! But didnt have the true stingray tone, and it too also had a 17.5 MM string spacing. Just prefer 19MM at the moment!
 4.
how come this stingray has a switch in the preamp and mine doesnt????/ are there variatoins in the stingrays?????/
Because yours is a 4 string i imagine.

 6. So how does it play when the neck and body are used together?
 7. Hmm, I have a spare tort guard for one of these if anyone wants to buy it!
 8. Could be interesting paired with my Vintage/T!
 9. Bump! I guess SR5's are unpopular again are they?
 10. I dont know about anyone else, but i am loving my Fender Deluxe USA Jazz 5 string. Decent low B and only a 34 inch scale length. Really comfy neck! Rob
 11.
Would that power amp be useful for any amp? Even Valve amps? Reason I ask is because I just bought a Little Bastard, and although it's done well for volume, things do get dirty fairly quickly. I could do with a touch more headroom before it starts to snarl. Wondered if a decent power amp would work here.
Well i dont have that power amp anymore! If the little bastard has a Line out then you can use a power amp with it. But you wouldnt be using the output valves of the ashdown so would lose that particular tone.
 12. REDUCED AGAIN TO £210. Postage will cost extra!
