Hey All, I have a Black Anniversary Rickenbacker Copy (4001?) that I bought new a year or so ago which, apart from a little messing around at home, has never been used. I bought it when I was thinking of re-introducing bass guitar into my bands act (Double Bassist, Rockabilly band) but it never happened and it just sits there looking forlorn. I was told with a nod and a wink in the shop that the belief is that they are made in the same factory as Epiphone guitars but as with all things Rick copy it's all a bit 'smoke and mirrors'! It looks good, sounds good and comes with a new hard case, new Rotosound RS66LO Swing Bass strings, quick release strap locks, a snakeskin look strap and a rather difficult to get hold of Rickenbacker (fake) truss rod cover!
