1. This is one big case...acquired to house my Explorer bass. Now use gig bag, so not needed. It's tatty but functional outside - all three latches work and hinges are solid - while inside it's pretty pristine. Here's a pic of it with the bass (half) in. Can post pictures of outside tomorrow. £25 collected from Bordon Hampshire or (possibly) High Wycombe. M
2. Sold me a Zoom and was communicative, cheerful and generally a great Baschatter!
3. Agreed, Kevin. As for Joe bloody Walsh I hug around a rehearsal studio all day and he blew me out for Johnnie Walker! Luckily that meant I could chat with Pino, who is a lovely fella. Oh, and that other Start user Albert Lee. Don't start me on Winehouse and Cullum - must have had great PR people... That day was also the birth of Queen + Paul Rodgers (ugh). Nuff said.
4. I need a specific gigbag but it doesn't come up to the minimum order amount. If anyone local's ordering and doesn't mind adding me, please PM. Thanks! M Based High Wycombe/occasionally Petersfield.
5. Welcome! I learned on a fretless jazz copy - then put the bass away until the kids had grown up. So you won't waste as much time as I did! What was your band called? M

Nice bloke, sad loss. RIP.
7. Literally brought me to tears, this news. What a drummer.
8. I am sure this is great but am I the only person who didn't understand a moogafoogin word?
9.

Sold me a Peavey practice amp. Good comms, good price, couriered...what's not to like?
10. Alex sold me his Kingman. Absolutely by the book, no problems, a very nice guy. Gets my seal of approval!
11. Mine is the only bass I have had that's had people coming up and admiring it on the stand (it's the light blue).
12. Just moved to the area and interested to see what's around. Play anything from pop to blues, and can sing lead/backing vocals. Experienced, 20 years of being in bands. That's it, really!
13. I would really like this but can't....
14. I have one of these in the same colour (obtained from this board) and use it regularly for gigging with my pop band. Had more compliments on its looks than any other bass I've owned. Sounds fine too though I have flats and the standard pickup. Clsasic Vibe is the way to go, folks!
15. As above - want to send this on today. First come first served!
