1. Mine in the for sale sections definitely right handed! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/231470-5-string-t-bass-trace-elliotstatus/
2. Bumping from back home. Every time i look at this I can't believe I am preparing to part with it - a perfect thing of beauty at a price of half what it would cost you from Mr Shuker himself...
3. Bumping from Switzerland. This really is beautiful and a bargain to boot!
4. Thanks my friend - going home via Montreux and the 'Lake Geneva shoreline'. Purple-esque bump!
5. Bump - could deliver in Europe next week if you contact me quickly!

7. Handmade Jazz Bass dated September 2010 by maker's signature. Never gigged by original owner or myself. In absolutely immaculate condition. Specifications Korina body with a polyester base coat in subtly sparkly red candy colour oversprayed with a high-gloss wet-look lacquer. Maple neck with carbon support rods. Rosewood fretboard (21 frets) with medium frets and mother-of-pearl dot markers. Brass nut, Gotoh bridge and tuners (black). Seymour Duncan STK-J1 pickups. These are humbuckers; two micro-toggles give the ability to have either coil or both, allowing many different tone possibilities. I will be travelling through France, Switzerland and Germany in a week or so's time, so personal delivery may be possible. Sorry, no trades. Hard case pictured is included.
8. I write for Guitar & Bass magazine, and they are actively trying to increase bass content to justify the title after passionate representations to the letters page. If you would like to have input, feel free to pm me please. One of the things I've already pitched to them is a column. I thought I might call it Bass Chat…but then decided not to sail close to the wind! M
9. Would like to concur with above. Recent transaction was best I have has on Basschat. The man is a gent and a scholar. He even delivered personally at no charge (terms and conditions apply - I live near his mum!).
10. I'm in New Orleans at the mo! RP did four great albums off the bat but coke and a turn away from 70s funk to 80s production values did his music in. Addicted To Love is the most appalling thing...
11. Shagging each other? Or was that the Seventies?
12. To the top for a beautiful and increasingly hard to find bass.
13. What wasn't explained very well was that there were two studios, Fame (the original) and Muscle Shoals (which the musicians founded). So the story of two studios in one place. Tailed off mightily and went too sl;ow in the beginning (who gives a deck about what Bono thinks?) but a good watch nevertheless.
14. Is now! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/231470-5-string-t-bass-trace-elliotstatus/

I gave it to my luthier and he replaced this, then gave it a good clean, re-strung it, set it up and returned it. The result is a fabulous bass with the wow factor, too good for a confirmed four-stringer like me... I will be travelling through France, Switzerland and Germany in a week or so's time, so personal delivery may be possible. Sorry, no trades.
