1.
man thats cheap no ones got any money at the moment so theres some amazing bargains out there. Im saving up desperately to get in there before they start creeping up again! Have a bump
I know matey and thanks for the bump, it's a buyers market at the moment no question about that! I'd be losing money on this at this price but it precisely matches a bill I need to pay, gotta pay the man
2. I'm in Sheffield and that sounds like a lot of fun, I haven't got very much free time that could commit though so will have to pass I think, I hope you find someone soon though cos I'd like to see you play sometime!

Simon and I just concluded a postal trade, the details were carefully concocted and once agreed he did exactly what he said he would and precisely when he said he'd do it! A pleasure to deal with. Thanks matey
4. Hiya, tempted! will a standard p-bass fit in it? highway one style... Am in Sheffield so it'd be the courier option I reckon
5. Acg 6 string, make any sound from just about any era more than we'll enough for any audience! a superb all rounder!
6. I think there's a pretty good balance between appearing humble (recognising that no matter how good you think you are, there's always someone better) and encouraging improvement in less skilled players / those who haven't had the years of experience. There are a few threads about certain villfied players, mostly because of their character rather than their playing, generally though this is a forum for pointing out excellence to aspire to and encouraging each other to practice and improve.
7.
Where did you get the case for it mate? Been looking for one for my little mark 3 but the official mark bass bag is extortionately priced.
Likewise!
8. If I had the cash I'd have this back, it's a superb and hugely versatile beauty! plays wonderfully too!
9. I suspect the differences are down to the year of manufacture differences between the manual and your amp maybe? As for pics, a link to photos on Flickr/photobucket/otherhostingsite... still works cos you just paste the html link thingy into your post...
10. Awesome Christmas money spending speed sale type thing!
11.
Having been a sound man at church.... if they are used to regualr basses that ACG Eq might confuse them!
It needn't confuse them, it's me flying it they'll just be getting a pure and sweet line-level from it that'll be the most consistent tone they've ever been able to amplify...(I've been a soundman too - used to sell PA a long time ago)
12. Haven't had chance to try it yet as am on a 'baby break' from Sunday morning serving so I can be with my family, hopefully will begin getting stuck back in sometime next year when our routines have settled down on a Sunday! I can only imagine it will make our soundman deliriously happy as it sounds perfect
13.
Hello David! I moved to leeds in september - it's been good to me so far. The new year should (hopefully) see me starting on bass at church (gateway) Luke
Gateway...New Frontiers yes, I'm part of City Church (Sheffield)...
14. James at Diago has some clever little monkeys working for him for sure!
15.
Hi Andy Thanks for getting back - I'm in alwoodley Leeds - the church I go to is St Barnabas CofE smallish - but we do our best! What type of music are you playing at the mo?
pm replied to

17. Welcome matey! Where abouts in Leeds are you and which Church are you part of? I'm part of City Church in Sheffield, it's a New Frontiers church and although I've had a year or so off playing on a Sunday I'm still very much part of the bands and general musical scene there...
18. Quite often when I start a thread it doesn't show up for me until the next day, I think the 'list making machine' gets overwhelmed by the amount of traffic on here maybe?
19.
Thanks , keep it quiet ) look at my last post )
sorry

21. I can see a rare steinberger something or other in basses for sale, it's still on the first page but nearing the bottom already...? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/193291-rare-steinberger-xm2-custom-for-sale/page__fromsearch__1

23. I suspect it was a polite nudge in the 'putting a price on things' direction befor the mods asked you Great piece of kit, I love my Shuttle 9!
24. I used to have one of these, this is one beautiful bass! I'm not sure the vid does the sounds available from these justice, it's hugely versatile! I only sold mine cos I got an ACG!! Someone buy this! Alan's a great guy to deal with too!
