1. very lovely indeed! The angle of the a string as it passes over the nut looks quite extreme, I'm sure it's fine but it 'looks' harsh in the pic
2.
That's one...
tru-dat! very nice though! I wonder if he'll mention how much they might be when they both appear on here?
3. They all sound v different too, I've had a variety of each... Fenders - USA std Jazz and P basses - passive, very organic/natural sound, fattens up nicely when rolling the tone back; just felt normal somehow... MM - Stingray 4 & 5, active, humbucker, the most organic/natural sound I've heard from an active bass, none of that sterile/hifi sound you get from some active circuitry but could still do that slap sound, and it was that slap sound you wanted to hear too; excellent QC! G&L - L2000, L2500, L1500 - very active, something in the treble really pissed me off, sounded very dated, treble-aside they're huge sounding basses though, they also hated dead strings! Brillinatly put together though!
4. Hiya, would you consider a trade with cash adjustment for a fender highway one p?
5. Not sleeping! Bad news mate! This is a rather severe case of 'unfocused gas' (thinking you want something but not knowing what), maybe you should start at the beginning and tell the bc doctors what seems to be the problem...?
6.
Chardbass got it. He'll be very pleased with it methinks
Lucky man! I know this is a good one cos it was I who first opened the box when it arrived from lakland usa! It's a joy to play and sounds superb! I only sold it to make way for my acg 6 string arriving or I'd have kept it!
