2.
Wow, just wow! You've got yourself a hot pair of basses, there. GAS now sorted?
Glad you likey, I'm very happy with them both (is an understatement!) I might need a cheapy for knock about practices mebbe a squier cv or summat similar but bass wise my big guns are definately sorted matey yes!!
 3.
Very impressive bit of luthiery there. Enjoy!
He's rather good that Jon boy, ta matey!
 4.
I wouldn't know where to start if I was playing a 6er but that is gorgeous. My 5s are enough of a handful (no pun intended) already! But yes, if I ever happen to have some dosh to spare, I could do much worse than throw it at Letts with an order for a nice lefty 5er...
Glad you likey I didn't know whether I'd cope with 6 rather than my usual 5 but actually I have no problem playing them at all, for years I thought I hted 6 string basses but it was just that I'd never tried one with a nice enough neck before! I can now play more notes per position and can be really lazy and not move my hand around nearly so much, hurrah!
 5. Lush! I love my pair of UL112-2 cabs
 6. these are superb drive/boost/preamp pedals, a really transparent way of adding drive to your tone!
 7.
Just been checking these out. They look pretty cool. Does anyone on here have one? They make me think of les claypool.
I now have one, as do quite a few others all of a sudden...

 9.
Think this is the nicest of Alan's range, just love the body shape. Heard that filter takes a while to get your head around, but once you do theres no looking back. Congrats!
Thanks matey, I'm so impressed with the preamp, it's enormously powerful! and yes it is taking a little while to get my head round but I'm already able to dial in appropriate sounds relatively quickly inbetween songs...time will only improve my ease with this monster!
 10.
Oh. My. God.
lovely isn't it try to get yourself on one of his future bc deals, they're seriously amazing!

 15. Mine arrived this morning and it's asbolutely awesome, the most amazing fretless warmth in every note (I've not had chance to plug it in yet so this is just acoustically!)...
 16. Arrived this morning (so I was slightly late for work )! It's a Macassar Ebony fingerboard, AAA flame maple top (with silver stain), Honduras mahogany/wenge neck and body, MM pickup, passive electronics, vol & tone, simples! sexy bass on the bed photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/andy_dye/sets/72157631997960244/ I've only had chance to try it acoustically but it's got serious resonance across all the strings, loads of fretless warmth / mwah, seriously amazing, this is the nicest most 'me' fretless bass I've ever had! It's really really light too, I'll forget I'm playing it if I'm not careful and it balances perfectly!! Hopefully get to plug it in tonight and give it a proper go
 17.
And so it begins..... You will be wanting more of them just like Eude and I.
absolutely matey...it's a very slippery slope!! shonky phone cam pics replaced with 'sexy bass on the bed' pics
 18.
Bump! Incidentally there was a sale agreed in principle but the buyer has just been messing me around colossally for months now, so it's back up for sale.
Grrr! That's a right faff mate, sorry it didn't happen with the 'buyer who failed'!
 19.
I told you! I can't recommend ACG basses enough, I know some folks might want something a little more traditional looking, and now there's a couple of more trad shapes available now, and with the Graft range you can be even more trad if you want. It's a one stop GAS shop! Eude
You did indeed matey, I'm very much sold on Alan's creations!
 20.
I just love this bass. Congrats Andy.
Thanks matey, it's a keeper that's for sure! Not even sure if I need another ACG, maybe a bolt on 5'er with Black Limba body and some pleasing facing wood, 2 humbuckers and the preamp of doom...mmm that sounds like fun!
That's awesome mate! My experience of ACGs is that they have a lot more guts too and the bridge pickup solo'd always sounds surprisingly full and punchy! Nice Eude
Thanks matey, I was gobsmacked when I tried it in the mix, these are seriously amazing pieces of kit!
 21.
Hey man, how you getting on with the new bass? It's an absolute peach! (sorry, no new pics from me, was up a ladder painting ceilings all weekend, was dark before I got down, on Saturday and Sunday , maybe next weekend...) Eude
Hiya matey, I've had a couple of hours with it now and I can honestly say it's superb, solo it has a poise and clarity I've not known in a bass before and in the mix it has sufficient low and low mid impetus to power through in a classic rock style or mix in a bit of bridge pup and you've got fingerstyle funk but with more guts than any other bass I've had. Bridge pup only gives a superb solid quack. It's heavy but beautifully balanced so that despite playing standing for a while my shoulder is fine and dandy! Its weight also translates into a real feeling of substance, in that, it feels real in your hand, not some pansy necked lightweight balsa nasty, but a glorious marriage of pieces of wood! I'm sold. The preamp is the dogs b€£&€$&s too, and with the pups, provides a vast array of possible tones, I played everything from abba, Jackson 5, wham, Texas, bad company, Steppenwolf, queen, Paul Simon, journey, mika, the fratellis, Whitney Houston and van Halen this evening and with a flick of a knob or two I got each bass sound close enough that it sat right in each track, mid peaks in the right places, everything! Well impressed!!
 22.
sale mainly cheers
No prob matey, still tempted if my stuff sells...where r u based?
 23. Awesomeness mate, glad you're made up with it! Pics please!
 24. Any trade options? I have a couple of basses available on here?
 25.
Uh, nice! Congrats! Be patient I have to wait much longer - one week (the other luthier though)!
It'll be worth the wait matey, have no doubt there!
Terrific bass.., I landed shortly my hands on her this summer, (un)fortunately my wife was here too, I could have bought this one
Thanks matey, she's a beaut, am rather pleased you didn't buy it you know
wooooooooo
why thankyou kind sir!
Congrats matey! Can't wait to hear how you get on I intend to take some reasonable pics of my ACG family this weekend, assuming the light is OK, we all expect you to do something similar Eude
Ta mucka, I'll give it a few days to settle my ears in to the completely new way of working a preamp and then let the world know how I'm getting on... I look forward to seeing the family group matey! A few pic of my own added now (albeit phone cam ones as I haven't had chance to play with my proper camera as yet!)
