1. I know this bass has arrived because Mrs andydye has told me so, it's at home waiting for me to unwrap it and play it! I've just got these next unfortunate 3 hours or so before I get home from work...don't think I'm going to be very focused this afternoon here's a link to the ACG page for it http://www.acguitars...k/Available/19/ Sexy bass on the bed photos... 2.
oooohhh interesting....
indeedy
3. Also, does the 4% allow for those buying BC stuff after sales? I've done this the last few times...
4.
PM'd
Replied
5. So, during the changeover period will any existing threads need to be recreated in the new marketplace in order to be able to continue to answer questions about them? Also, is bumping still achievable in the new styley or is it a bump free world that works very differently from now on?
6. Terry bought my speakon - speakon cable, great comms and super speedy payment, no probs! Top chap, ta matey!
7.
I've added a couple of demo 'questions' to show how they appear in the associated tab. http://isaaclewis2.invisionzone.com/index.php?/classifieds/item/9-warwick-brand-new-with-case/#questions
Major hitch for me is that questions aren't visible in mobile mode
8.
Got one of these from another chatter. What a great pedal So simple- just controls the mid range frequencies. Built like a tank. Tiny but very heavy. My rig is a little scooped so thought I would use a graphic to add more mids ( maxed out on my hartke lh1000 ) so bought a behringer one. Did the trick but was curious about the bmc pedal - one came up on here so I bought it. Amazing quality, very warm sounding. Loads of different sounds on this and all useful. Cut through like knife through butter. Really really useful pedal that would be useful for all players.
So, the secret's out now then, ah well, glad you're enjoying it matey, they're fab, I expect I'll have another one someday...
9. I always (apart from one time) include pics of the actual item making sure I capture any issues or particularly cool features... The only time I didn't was recently when I sold a headphone amp that was completely pristine and I didn't get round to taking actual pics, it still sold though... I do now have 3 pages of positive feedback describing how thorough, accurate and generally trustworthy I've been... If I see an item I'm looking for and the seller has little or no feedback I need to see pics of the actual item for sale, but if it's an established member I know or who has an established in the community I'm less twitchy... Dunno if that helps or not but thats my approach
10. Sergio bought my last ehx boss adaptor, paid nice n quick, all nice n easy, super chap, ta matey!
11.
ok, I wrote this app last night. I will publish it to playstore when i get home later, you any good at gfx design bremen? it could do with a nice app icon.
Welcome ...and... by what name shall we find it in the appstore?
12. Bob just bought my BMC, very easy and speedy discussion and transaction, great comms with instant payment! Top chap!
13. [s]For sale as I've been to visit Alan in Moffat and have come away having bought one of his basses so I need both cash and to make some space in the house pdq!! This is for my superb modded Geddy Lee fretless...the story is as follows: The original Geddy Lee Jazz bass (2001) was modified by its original owner (McGraham) to have an upgraded Schaller bridge, Dimarzio Model J pickups and a fretted Shuker neck, when I got the bass on a trade I sold the neck to Krysh in Hamburg, the ramp to Fretmeister and sent the body (black - alder) to BassDoc. BassDoc has added a beautiful fretless J neck with Hipshot ultralite tuners which, coupled with the 70's pickup spacing gives a thrilling fretless burp like no other fretless I've ever had, I've gigged it once and it was brilliant! If I could I'd keep this one too... I've since changed the strapbuttons for schaller straplock ones, I'll leave the Schaller strapbuttons on it and will also include the strap attachments. I'll include a neoprene strap too! There is also a replacement standard jazz wiring loom with CTS pots and switchcraft jack socket (received from BassDoc) that can be dropped in to replace the modded electrics (it currently has a master volume, a 4 way rotary selector for pickup choice and the usual tone pot, this setup works surprisingly well actually). The body has a few scars / mojo marks from it's former life (see pics), I've cleaned it up but haven't filled in any of it's paint chips...it comes in a functional but untidy looking warwick rockbag £500 inc uk shipping - rock bottom price for a superb sounding and playing fretless j! It's got a set of Labella 760fl flats on it too and they feel amazing, lots nice than the Lakland Joe Osborn flats I put on my Highway One P![/s]
14.
Something like this?: http://appshopper.co...ome-click-track
that looks exactly like the right sort of thing but it's not for android, it's applestyley
15. This would be very handy with the setlist option as it's something you can't do with a normal metronome app, I reckon my drummist would be up for some o that!
16. Well, whatever the reasons, it's a whole bunch of free bumps for a gorgeous bass! ACG's tend to have lovely flat (no radius) fingerboards that are super comfy to play! Matt Garrison may or may not have a radiused fingerboard, I'm sure he's delighted with whatever shape it is
17. I will soon be an 'ACG folks can meet in Sheffield' type contact http://www.acguitars.co.uk/Available/19/ will be mine very soon (this Friday is the requested delivery date!)
18. To finally sort of conclude this thread... I visited Alan at ACGuitars last week whilst on holiday in Galloway (thanks Wife and boys for letting me run off for a day to play some beautiful instruments!) and bought http://www.acguitars.co.uk/Available/19/ so it's a 6 string which I wasn't expecting but it's just beautiful! Consequently virtually every other bass I own is now for sale to claw back some cash but it's superb! I'm then going to save up for a Shuker uberhorn because as Dood alluded, I'm in Sheffield and so is Shuker so it'd be rude not to have one wouldn't it? I'm also on a 'buy British' trip just now, support our domestic builders, there's some amazing quality on these shores so no need to go across the pond folks!!
19.
PM`d
Replied...and SOLD!
20.
Fantastic! We'll be the only folks with Ziracote topped ACGs, as far as I'm aware Eude
It's just gorgeous, such understated class to it! I've just dealt with the invoice so it should be shipped Thursday for a Friday delivery

23. I'm with binky, this is a beauty you'll just buy back before too long so you may as well just keep it!
24. I cured my dingwall gas by trying one, gave me vertigo looking down at the fingerboard, not my cup o tea at all, I salute those of you who can get on with them as I love the concept of the varying scale length!
25.
PM'd
Replied, last one provisionally sold...Hoorah!
