2.
Yes - and generally the levels of evangelism increase in direct proportion to the price paid!
yes but that also works inversely too with the amount of overall chuffdness achieved through the low price of the Squier
 3. four posts already and nobody has said 'och aye the noob' yet?
 4. nothing but bum notes from me!! good job it was a beer festival so nobody hardly cared one single jot but always nice to see quite a few peeps up and shaking their groove thang about FOH guys even commented on how good the overall sound was (one of them a bass player too) - FOH excellent desk and sound (ASTRA i think it was to give them a plug)
 5.
There's a big niche market for a band like this . They have hit on the novel idea of making music for people who are both stupid and deaf , and probably quite unpleasant too . There are plenty of such folks out there .
I saw that crowd once ... Oasis iirc
 6. White wine and fruit based soft drinks also available

 19.
Maybe that sounds a bit harsh, but with "traditional" Chinese, Japanese or Indian music there seems to be a lack of "bass" or bass stringed instruments; plenty of drums?
you may have a point there http://youtu.be/QH3uJc8K8qg
 20.
don't know what you mean?
+1
 21.
Interesting though they were, they didn't feel right for me mate, sorry, the Mozart one seemed too complex and not what I need at this time, maybe I just didn't understand them I'm using the Jazz Session Band app a BC member posted which has been very useful. I've made great progress today though, just with three hours looking at dots, hearing the music, and working theoretical sh*t out with a classical guitar. I feel like some familiarisation is happening, albeit on a very low level. Thanks for those apps mate, I will revisit them when I feel a bit more confident. Cheers
i found classical guitar pieces great way to pick up theory and also singing (choirs big orchestral stuff) was great for sight reading and if you sing tenor you learn both treble and bass clefs
 22. did you have any luck with those apps Nige?
