1.
There's a pretty cool photo of one here - By the way this guy's music is well worth checking out, great bassist too .
Actually looks really cool in this picture!
2.
Any idea on the model?
Looks like a TX210 to me, assuming it's not front ported.
3. Personally, I wouldn't have any use for an extra high string. Even the high C on my 6 isn't used all that much, but then I don't really do much tapping, chords or soloing. A few players have tuned 7 strings with a low F# instead though, so that might be worth considering. Bottom line though, is if you're interested, give it a bash!
4. I think I'm going to cry http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/peavey-bass-guitar/131102018790?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222006%26algo%3DSIC.FITP%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107083358%26meid%3D4501982484210245070%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D20140107083358%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D151136782798#ht_63wt_958
5.
Looks cool. I'm having Tom at COG build me something similar to this but inculding a compressor and the guts from my thumpinator.
That sounds incredible, like an entire rig in one pedal
6. Some pictures would definitely help the sale, especially on such unique items. Everyone knows how good these amps sound. Good luck with the sale!
7.
I have learnt the hard and expensive (and fun) way that a pedalboard will never be finalised
Never a truer word spoken! (PS. Shut up Wooks. )
8. I like their slogan: If you don't like Vagina, you probably play keyboards.
9.
Have you seen the Meatsmoke for sale? 50kg! The same as my wife!
Bloody hell that weighs the same as my Peavey 4x10 cabinet!!
10. Oh man, I can't help being tempted even though I've got 5 Peaveys already!!
11.
http://www.ovnilab.com/
I trawled this site for a long time to get the right compressor for me. Finished up with an Aguilar TLC which I've been using religiously for 3 years now!
12.
I only came in here to moderate... honest
Yeah me too, what a relief ey?!
13. Warpaint are great, haven't listened to them in years! For some reason they're one of those bands I always forget about.
14. Pictures can be seen here! https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/t1/q84/s720x720/1689779_10152188204419839_916432166_n.jpg https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/q77/s720x720/10189_10152188204569839_1896725713_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/t1/q86/s720x720/1545906_10152188204764839_1264400693_n.jpg
15.
The guitarist in the band im in had 2 Bugera valve amps, lovely sounding amps that lasted 1 1/2 gigs each, i dont think ill be bothering with these.
They do sound incredible. I like all of their and Behringer's stuff except for their bass amps, if you get a good one it will last as long as anything else. I just don't see why they let poor quality control let them down.
16. It'a taken me all this time to realise... It's supposed to look like a car stereo, right?
17. Another vote for Markbass, any amp sounds great through it... and its not just because I've got a 4x10 in the for sale section
18. That's beautiful, bet it sounds even better than it looks!
19. Awesome awesome amps. More upper mids than even I can handle!
20. I've tried a pair of 102s before, perfect for a loud metal band with the volume up just half way! No experience with the 804 but I've heard nothing but good reviews.
21. Seems pointless, adding like a foot of width to save a couple of inches of height... I guess you might get more low end with the larger box, and it would work better stacked vertically, but it doesn't appeal to me.
22.
The more bells and whistles means more stuff to go wrong. Any amp with a control called Kosmos and lights that you can change the colour of is not for me.
But those lights are FABULOUS!
23.
Annoyingly each amp has features I like/would want, but neither has them all: MiniMax - gain/built-in tuner MiniMega- gain/compression I would want gain/compression/built-in tuner - aaaaarrrggghhh.
I'd also want an AUX in on the Mega!
24. Really loving the parametric Lo Mid / Hi Mid options, and the Narrow Q switch is a great addition. Unimaginable tone control for such a tiny amp!
