I remember a cheap German brand from a few years ago, "H&S Guitars". Got one of their 6 stringers. It was a complete pile of dogshit. Put me well off the idea of the HK brand, but these really are somethin special! I have kicked myself a few times for not getting one...

Pure arse pain I hope you get sorted soon! Luckily I've not yet had to deal with returning faulty stuff bought online but I'd be well putt off if it happened to me

I've seen this somewhere else before, invaluable guide and has really helped me get the most out of my basses! Good of you to post it here!

That's yet another example of great service! Seems to be a lot of it about recently What a massive pain about the replacement set being Medium gauge! I'd feel so awkward informing them of the mistake!

I don't have anything constructive to add, I just wanted to say how impressed I am to read about ACS's customer service there

I learned Imperium by Machine Head the other day, for my cover band. Not a particularly challenging track, but quite fun to play, and plenty of room to add a bit of 'flavour' to the parts It's normally in drop B, but I just play it on my 5... Actually makes it easier as I barely have to move my left hand!

I've seen/heard a 7 string one of these in action on a gig once. Absolutely marvellous! Shame I didnt take the plunge when they were more readily available!
