1. We live in a society of representation - the 'Society of the Spectacle' as Guy Debord suggested. "Pics or it didn't happen"
2. I put a pair of Kent Armstrong pickups in my Squier Tele and lthink they're great. They were the single coil 'hot' models.
3.
Only Lionel Blair

Add his name to the list of those who need to be killed on the day of the revolution..
What did Lionel ever do to you ?
4. I've never had my cleaned or syringed...just cotton buds. This thread's making me think I should try some olive oil tonight, see what revelations can be heard...
5.
Sorry guys, it's not that exciting..
It is, it is !
6. I feel dumb for asking this...but what blew up ? Could you tell me where I'm looking...
7. Nobody seen this yet on the Daily Mash ? Dealers prepare bad acid for Glastonbury Metallica set
8. She prolly just thinks it an old trunk... A scary thought - maybe your wife thinks you've sold a bass and it's about to be posted...
9. Well, only you can say if it's actually solder...but that looks like wire to me. is it soft...can you pull it apart ?
10. Elvish ? On bass ?
11. The door stay to stop my shed door from opening too far is a bass E-string.
12. Difficult to say without seeing it, but double-check all the connections look good. The bass control works OK ?
13.
Easy fix - a strip of black sticky tape over the top - will smooth out the bumps & you can replace it as often as you like.
This'd be my solution.
14. Holy Mother of God, that's beautiful.
15.
Yes - but another one of their options is called 'Interparcel Standard', who have been UPS the several times I've used them.
Me too - it's been UPS every time.
16.
£400 is a top price, well done bud! Why does my local Crack Converters never have anything like this in?
Plus the one.
17.
Anything less than 650-700 quid would be good for a fully working model, preamp should be an easy fix so anything less than those would be a decent deal! Spill, what did you pay?
Inquiring minds need to know...
18. You lucky dog. The value of Warwicks isn't fantastic at the moment, but I'd not like to hazard a guess as $$ Streamers are quite rare I think. I'd love a Streamer $$.
19.
I would think that if you're compressing the signal you'll be evening out the volume and by boosting the lows you'll be consistently that bit louder?
Plus the one. The Optostomp I had cut some lows as well. Assuming we're talking about you having the pedals activated when you say it sounds better !
20. The shafts on a Seymour Duncan MM preamp I have in my spares box are 6mm.
21. They do the job fine for me - the output for a daisy chain cable's a boon.
22. Bought a RAT from Dunc - lovely guy to deal with. Total class act from start to finish. A credit to BC.
23. Ooooh, that's lovely.
24. As generalisations go, it's as true as any other.
