  1. The knobs are for gain and volume I presume. Is the switch for more/less low end or high/low gain?
  2. The DOD250 is glorious with a blend circuit.
  3. Jesus thinks you’re a jerk - Zappa
  4. Too late, too late - Motörhead
  5. Jesus! Bad day at the office for Mr. Astbury.
  6. Utopia by Björk. Genius.
  7. Shame it’s not a tiny M5 or I’d have bitten your hand off!
  8. Lung Train Running - Doobie Brothers
  9. I find this too; dirt is one of the first things to disappear in a mix.
  10. Beaten to the punch by the esteemed Mr Pickguard esq, so I'll proffer: Hair Pie - Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band.
  11. Je ne sais pas pork-wah - Kylie Minogue
  12. The modulation patches on these things are CRAZY good!
  13. As long as you pay tax on your stake then it's probably OK.
  14. Does anyone know what the synths are like? That’s the one think that I’d be interested in hearing.
  15. So What - Miles Davis or Anti-Nowhere League, take your pick.
  16. Give peas a chance - Plastic Ono band
  17. Oof! Mighty Mite stuff is great quality. GLWTS, but at this price I don’t imagine you’ll need it.
  18. Not so much a technique tip, but I wasn’t aware of how much string noise I was generating until I started practicing through headphones. No amp-sim, no reverb, just a headphone amp. It highlights technique issues REALLY quickly!!
  19. We’re doing a cross-channel run at the weekend, but unfortunately coming back to Blighty, not the direction that you need.
  20. Mmmmmmm, black and maple
  21. Tinsel Town Rebellion - Zappa
  22. Bonin' in the boneyard - Fishbone
  23. Bought used recently from a fellow BC'er and they're great sounding (and feeling) flats, but I've just got to face the fact that I'm not a 'flats' guy. These are pretty much identical tension to my usual 105 - 45 round wounds so there shouldn't be any need to adjust the truss rod on your bass. One thing to note is that the G string is cut a little shorter than the rest, so you'll probably only get a single wind on the G string tuner - I've had these on for a few weeks now and it hasn't affected the tuning stability in any way on my 34" scale length instrument. Plenty of windings on the other 3 strings though. I don't have the original packaging but these will be well packaged. Price includes postage to mainland UK addresses. ON HOLD
