  1. I'd love a lefty one of these but I doubt that's gonna happen. If anyone is interested I spotted a Flea signature on ebay at the moment for £690.
  2. Here is a pic of the underside of my Eden WTX262. Look like the stick on rubber type.
  3. I used to pay £60 a pop for the privilage and was never satisfied so began doing it myself with similar results. Not too difficult really if bass is a good player in the first place.
  4. Be interesting to know how the bass plays strung as BEAD with the longer string length on the lower strings.
  5. Thought it would be cool to have a place to show off basses seen online that may be of interest. I've just spotted this at my local music store. Drool.... http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/left_guitars_detail.asp?stock=160308295921002
  6. Great basses. My '57 P CIJ is a joy.
  7. The Ibanez Mikro Bass overall length is 39", the body is 12" wide at the lower bout and the length of the body from strap button to stap button is 19". Fits in any six string guitar gigbag I have tried.
  8. Great little amps these. I have the later WTX-264 with a 4ohm 12"cab.
  9. My lefty Ibanez Mikro next to Fender J for size comparison.
  10. This arrived a few days ago to accomodate my short-scale Ibanez Mikro bass. Excellent quality guitar size gigbag. More like a case than just a bag. Fits the bass with room to spare. http://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_premium_gigbag_eguitar_br.htm
  11. Just ran this setup at home as a test for almost 5 hrs with no issues and very quiet. A 600w inverter connected to a 12v battery powering an Eden 250w head playing through a 4ohm 12" cab. Should still be loud and portable enough once I get a small trolley.
  12. Certainly would have wanted to see that one in the flesh.
  13. If your playing funk then the RH750 is prob a good choice. Mark King uses one.
  14. Looks great. I have always regretted selling my Acoustic 140, albeit around 25 years ago! I really like the look of those tiny pedals, what are they exactly?
  15. My YOB. Super duper!
  16. Talk about a bass having mojo!
  17. Looks fantastic. How about a pic minus the pickguard?
  18. I have black tapewound strings on my fretted acoustic bass. I really like the feel of them. I use the bass for noodling at home so volume not an issue.
  19. Thanks for the feedback on this. The maple neck looks too new to me to be '70's, hence my suspicion it may be an assembly job.
  20. Something about this P bass just doesn't look right. I own a few Fender lefties and this one looks like its an allparts job somehow. What you think? http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/252424109605
  21. Update is that I just happened to set bass up for a look-see in my bedroom and when played through my practice amp, lo and behold, no hum at all. May still require some copper grounding wire put in under bridge and pups and attached to the shielded control cavity to alleviate completely if this is indeed the cause.
  22. Great colour combo.
  23. And to think that bass looked brand new before those dogs got hold of it. Nice!
