    I have to say I use reverb exactly like that, when I experiment with sound and atmospheric textures. I have never thought of using it (in lower doses) as an always on effect, I will try that.

    I was following this thread but only recently got a bat headless bass. Less popular end of the market, it’s a Hondo Alien bass. In any case, I am interested in getting an extension for it. Is there a guide to make your own? Or where can I get a ready made one from? I may get a leg rest instead/as well. Can these be bought on their own?

    Yes, if there is a bolt on Hohner, then I would think that should be the OP’s starting point!

    I was looking for a travel bass too and wanted a Hohner (I would have kept it in one piece though, it’s to keep in the camper van). I ended up getting a Hondo Alien bass, it’s dead ugly, but similar footprint, and it is a bolt on. An additional bonus for me is that is has an aluminium neck, which I think is great for a travel bass (albeit heavier). Maybe an option for you instead of hacking a nice bass?

    As witnessed at the Winter Sprinter event at the Lexington’s on 09/01/19, and played by Flowers and Firestations. It didn’t collapse during the performance. Show us your Jenga stacks!

    I only know their collaboration with Stereolab (UiLab), it was very good.Didnt know they had 2 bass players, I’ll have to check them out.

    Ooh! My have seen you back in the day then. What was the band? Still like listening to them. They have performed a couple of times at The End Festival (or something like that) the past few years. They were still awesome, albeit no longer smoking on stage

    Back in the late 90s there was a band called Billy Mahonie. They were absolutely awesome, fantastic live shows. They had 2 bassists. One was particularly agitated on stage and, shrouded in the smoke from his cigarette, would often stumble on the drum kit. They’ve done a couple of gigs recently!

    I use a Jamman Stereo. It has some basic drums and can store 99 loops (more with memory card). It’s really good for practice. For 2 instruments I’d do as @Cato said above, i.e. swap them out, or I’d get an ABY box. Only downside I have is the Mac software to manage the loops is old and doesn’t work too well with the latest OS. Loop management on the pedal itself is fine.
