    The only gold bass I have already has a Babicz FCH. Note that this appears to be a Z-series bridge, which offers a more “traditional” look and proportions.

    Very nice. On the picture, what you call a scratch on the upper edge looks a bit more than that, like if a chunk of wood is missing. Do you have a close up of that area? Do I understand correctly that the bass is active only (I.e. no battery, no sound)? Thank you.

    Have you tried loosening the black screw on top? It could be a locking screw.

    I like the retro style of the Italia basses. I have an Imola (the Ampeg AEB hommage), it is well made and very light.
