1. I bought a Gramma Pad from Ross. Good comms despite his illness, all went well. No hesitation in dealing with him again. Cheers!
2. I bought his SB301. He was very tolerant of my ineptness with the bass I'd brought hoping to trade. Nice guy; recommended. Thanks Ian
3. Stuart Adamson - Big Country (the Skids, not so much) Bill Carter - Screaming Blue Messiahs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Yc-X2lG_HM

5. I've got one, and I wouldn't part with it. Pups are a bit underpowered, it weighs a ton, and mine has been half stripped. The nuts seem to wear badly, as well. But it's a great piece of kit. Mine has one black-transparent knob, like Thor's post, and one cream hat-type. The cream hat-type matches the pup colour, so I figured that was probably the original.
6. Better to post it in the Bass guitars discussion subforum here: http://basschat.co.uk/forum/16-bass-guitars/
7. um... tort scratchplate? Looks a tad paler to me

15.
As a massive geek, I wonder about lin-nux, vs. lie-nux. However as we linux users never actually speak in real life, it's never come up.
What is this "real life" you speak of?
16. I bought joeystrange's Vox Custom 3002. All as advertised, good communications, quick delivery; overall a seamless transaction. I'd happily deal with him again. thanks Mike

20. Thank you, gentlemen. Any guess at a sensible price for it? I'd be guessing at £150 max, if it's nice to play.
