1. It's certainly blue. It ought to go to someone who gives their basses girls' names - then it could be Lonesome Ann
2. Bump for change of mind - back up for sale or trade.
3. Ibanez GSRM-20, black, 28.6" scale? Bought from Thomann in the spring, never used.
4. I bought a bass and a guitar from Ray. Good communications, decent packaging, all as advertised, and very fast - he went out of his way to get them to me quickly. I'd have no hesitation in dealing with him again. Thanks Ray
5.
But are they any good? I tried on briefly......
I bought one, one of the recent reissues with the silly curvy body and not-so-silly curvy headstock. I love it. It's not a bass guitar any more than a bass guitar is a double bass; it needs some learning, especially with being fretless and very short scale. But it makes a lovely noise
6.
Anything considered type bump.
What sort of trades would float your boat?
7.
bloody 'ell! This thread is 4 years old. Can't you PM the guy instead of bumping it to the top and making it look current!?
+1
8.
I'd go for it, but don't like the colour (or could I get it re-vanished..?).
nice one
9. What trades would you be interested in?

11. My mistake. Thanks for the enlightenment
12.
That and about a dozen other basses have been listed and relisted by the same seller for the past few months. Perhaps trying to get a name for himself like our German friend
At that kind of price he only needs to sell one every few months to make a decent living. Question is, is he finding buyers?
13. I don't know the EDB600 but I have got a (luthite) EDC715 (five-string), which is not heavy IMO, and very comfortable because of the body shape. I have no scales so can't measure with any accuracy, but it's maybe a little heavier than my Yamaha BBN5 (five-string) and definitely lighter than my Vox Standard (four-string). Hope this helps.
14. I bought some Ashbory strings from Ieuan. Good comms, prompt delivery, sensible packaging. No problems whatever, and I'd be happy to deal with him again. Cheers!
15. Okay, how heavy is this beast, please? I hear they are a bit on the beefy side
16. Bought a headphone amp from Ade. No problems or issues, good packing, prompt delivery. I'd happily deal with Ade again. Thanks
17.
Yes it was
Okay, let me rephrase that - you guys were excellent Venue was Blandford Corn Exchange, summer of 1980 or '81? The frontman had yellow hair (not blond), really tight-curled. Very, very exotic-looking, in that place and time - at least to me, I was young and innocent. I vaguely remember wondering at the time why the bass player sounded so English, or maybe so not-South-African.
18.
Welcome mate. I am in Dorset so not so far from you. I played with some guys from SA way back in the 80s. They'd basically escaped the regime and were political exiles. The BBC did a documentary on them, a programme called "Open Space". Anyway i got really excited and when the BBC turned up they didn't want to feature me as i was English Anyway, enjoy the site its informative, funny and annoying all at the same time.
Was that band called Day One? I saw them in Blandford, they were excellent.
