1. So for all these years Ive used a multi effects unit, ironically enough usually only having one or maybe 2 patches programmed in that I actually use. I think the main reason for these was always the built in tuners and volume pedals so I had an easily selectable mute. But now Im getting the idea that I might like to junk that idea, get a pedal tuner and go the route of separate pedals. Ive just joined a funky disco function band so will be needing that kind of sound, what would you recommend to a pedal beginner like me? Apologies if this has been discussed a million times before
 2. Id rather play a few bum notes and give a nice energetic performance than stand statuesque and play perfectly. Its all about the show isn't it? That guy from Sparks did the standing still thing better than anyone else is ever going to be able to do it, so its been covered. Ironically, with my latest band I never seem to get the room to move about and weve just gone in ears so im tied to a mike stand until I can afford a wireless set up. I once played a short set with a guitarist who turned his back on the audience for the entire thing - never again
 3.
I haven't left you any Dave because I want sure if you were happy with the bass at first due to you being busy, after that I just totally forgot in the same way you forgot to post my gig bag back : lol: (got it the other day actually, ta) I shall head on over right now and leave you some
Aha! touché!
Done
many thanks good sir
 4. Ive had a look at my feedback thread, and seen that even tho Ive had a few (perfectly smooth) dealings lately with some very well established forum members, and left them feedback, they didn't seem to be bothered to do the same for me So, is that how it goes then, once you get to a certain number of posts/level of respectability, you don't need to help out the members who maybe haven't been around as long? </Moan>
 5. Sold all mine a few years back. Like many on here I guess, Id always said Id never sell my records, but they were taking a bashing from house moving and like you I never played them. Got a good price for them as well
 6. Im definitely in the mercenary category. Whilst I do enjoy playing, I cant afford to have a loss on my balance sheet. Having said that, I do keep a record of what I spend versus what I make, and Im in the negative there at the moment, so will be looking for more paying gigs soon. Ive spent a lot of years learning my craft, Im not bad at it, so i don't see why I should have to play for free. Done enough of that already ta
 7.
So does that make One erection a metal band??
black, death grindcore pop
 8. See, Id have this if you'd post it. You sure you don't want to?
 9.
Every day's a school day.
indeed. I had no idea either, I have been known to use a coin if needed. 50p pieces tend to give an altogether more purple sound than say, a Peruvian Nuevo Sol
 10.
How do you do it? I buy mine 100 at a time which lasts me a couple of years. Even if I don't loose them they eventually wear away...
Don't use them
 11. They both look fantastic in my opinion, now if they could do that finish in a P style id be on that right now
 12. oh my word that's nice has this been on the forum before as it looks familiar?

 21.
Wow!! Just spotted this advert. I would love to be a part of this. Pro bass player, big kate Bush fan. Local to Birmingham. I missed out on the other Kate Bush band based in the south, which my good friend Sprocket Flup has now joined. Please let me know if this is still available. Cheers, Dave 07941 991881.
Dave! Jeez, I should have emailed you this when I saw it, apologies mate
