    hot, sweaty, packed, bouncy shouty singy screamy fun! overall, bloody excellent, 400 people squeezed into the Royal Vauxhall Tavern makes for a great atmosphere. Hope we can do it again soon

    I do like the pixies, and have al their albums but Trompe le Monde was a step too far. having said that, there are a couple of fairly decent tracks on it, Subbaculture being one

    In a previous metal band I was in, tuned to C, me playing an aria Pro IGB50 thru a Trace Elliott GP12 4x12, when doubling up with the guitarist (no idea what gear he was using at the time) had the most amazing growl ive ever heard from a band. Never been able to reproduce it, but it was a brilliant sound
