1.
One would imagine that you cant even see the G string Still, i want one
ive always thought if you cant see the G string walk away its a lost cause
2.
Thats because he has used a Jazz bass since 1980
i was aware of that, i think i heard he used the jazz on one or two songs from Moving Pictures and the rest was ric and then went on to use the jazz more exclusively, but i like their earlier stuff too particularly 2112
3.
I resemble that remark
4. ribbed for your pleasure
5. No NO No No No looks like something from flash gordon though probably good for metal
6. yep thought the tone on that video was awful, cant really describe what it is about it i dont like apart from all of it. Yet i do like the sound geddy gets on his albums and they dont sound like that video
7. my fuzzy memory leads me to beleive it was 3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul and probably Appetite for Destruction
It's four years old - and I paid quite a lot less than list. But still expensive but I suspect that this may well kill my GAS
judging by the rig you have behind it and that bass gas should be well clear, not jealous at all

oooh that does look nice, never played a dingwall but if i had the money i'd certainly consider one, nice score need more pics just looked up the Z3 and seen the price, yeah you should be happy in that range
10. Ashdown Rootmaster RM800 into a Ashdown Mag 4x10, only effects are the onboard drive and octave that i have the FS2 footswitch for. does the job
11. ooh very nice looking rig, not jealous at all, no sir not one bit
12. look very similar and sound similar to ibanez SRs of comparable prices, nice touches with the Hipshot parts though. pickups and pre amp seem very similar (well the pickups are the same in being the Bartolini MK1's) string spacing however is wider on the 5 being 18mm, ibanez SR are 16.5mm (mostly) so if the SRs are anything to go by the cort's will be great note ive never seen one before those videos though so huge speculation
13. no problem, Dunelm Mill purveyor of fine furnishings quite interested in what the child related inspection was does it do the ampeg thing well for a smallish amp?
14. nice looking little amp that, i always found 20-30watts more than enough for home use. thats one serious vinyl collection you have there and did that rug come from ikea, looks like mine (hurr hurr your rug looks like my rug, fnarr)
15. War pigs covered by faith no more, probably mentioned in this thread already but feeling lazy to read it all. and IMHO better than the original just ahd a quick look and yes it has been mentioned, but its that bloody good it worth mentioning again
16. in a way yes i do, but then that i buy elixirs which are the strings fitted to my SRs when i bought them. i dont suggest for a minute that elixirs are made by Ibanez. but i like them so have stuck with them
17. that 740 has come up lovely i'm a sucker for SRs. the 500 has a marked improvement over its beaten state too good work there chaps
18. too much for not much ,imo of course, but really doesnt float my boat
19.
Mrs Darkandrew tolerates it but that's about it.
same here, i do have one hanging on the wall but she shows no interest. doesnt much like practicing either
20. certainly got alot more bottle than me to do something like this, and do it well
21. nice vid and nice basses, now go and finish decorating that back wall
22. i have the SR1805 NTF and rate it very highly, if it were german or US made it would probably cost a hell of alot more. Its light, the neck is lovely and smooth to play and it balances really well. The Nordstrand pickups have a great range of tones and can get slightly growly and the eq is flexible. any other questions fire away
23. anything by Cannible Corpse, but then they are intentionally ment to shock
