Hello, it's taken me way too long to get round to joining BassChat. But now I have, I have some nice basses to sell 😊 - serendipity.

Finished building myself a new guitar! I think I'm going to set my luthier's tools aside for a few years now though, and try doing something else.

I think I've reached that, "I've got all this stuff that isn't gonna ever get used" state. Projects that will never see the light of day. Some of it is worth selling, some may as well see the bin. I think I could do with a cathartic gear purge to clear the decks both physically and psychologically.

I can't ever go back to roundwound strings...flats for life!

Popped over to Cumbernauld Thursday night to catch @JohnFitzgerald play with Cateran and hear the debut of his Wal-esque build from last year. Top notch band, brilliant venue and his bass sounded amazing. Was also impressed by his Fame Baphomet, surprised we don't hear more about those.

Sorry all for the long absence, life threw a curve ball. Back and good now tho so will get through my notifications and PMs over the next day or two. Good to be back! :)

Today I heard Led Zep's "No Quarter" for the first time. The dullest, most morose waste of 7 minutes I have ever listened to.
