  1. Past hour
  2. I'm not sure if anyone will be interested given some of the exotica other people are bringing but I'm happy to bring along all or most of my gear on the basis of being very ordinary but someone might want to try out now that guitar shops aren't a thing. choose from Warwick Gnome, TC Elf, Peavey Minimax, Bugera Veyron. Fender Highway One Jazz, Fender American Deluxe Precision, Squier Anniversary P, Burny Thunderbird.
  3. Just got tickets for Babyshambles in Nov so I am buzzing!
  4. Sorry, didn’t think I needed to specify. They can be professional teachers or whatever you want to call YouTubers, but in these video titles they’re labelled as professional musicians or bass players.
  5. Not true. If you watch this video in its entirety you'll definitely see some brbr dengs in there.
  6. Thought I might take a look at the Headrush Flex Prime - you don't hear a lot about Headrush gear from bass players, so I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with them? Was thinking of taking one for an "audition". They seem to have a decent range of bass-specific amps, FX, etc (Ampeg, GK, Hartke, Peavey and Trace Elliot amps and cabs, various bass-specific effects like the Darkglass B3K, etc) and lots of other nice features, including the ReValver built in, so you can do amp modelling directly on the pedal.
  7. Pretty! I do love that ACG angled headstock design.
  8. I thought it was Mark Twain
  9. A request off a Facebook transcription page, this is the complete Victor Wooten part for the tune 'Bil Mon' from the 2003 Bela Fleck and The Flecktones album, 'Little Worlds'. Lot of ghost notes so not an easy read. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/bil-mon-bela-fleck-and-the-flecktones/
  10. I'm pretty sure the people who taught music in my school were professionals. There are professional TouTubers educating people various aspects of music, maybe not following an syllabus but educating and informing non the less.
  11. Just wondering about the preamp/electronics on this - does it have a tone control and if so is it only in passive or whilst in active too? Cheers
  12. These were mine, id have them back if i could afford it.
  13. Was going to reply to add to this the obvious reasons why these platforms are not being regulated as much as they should but think it’s going down the politics rabbit hole which will end up with the thread locked. Luckily we can still enjoy watching SBL invite other YouTubers onto their channel for challengers and have the cheek to call them professionals!
  14. I had a raspberry burst one of these, they’re much nicer than standard Stingrays, I prefer the preamp on the specials too, it felt like the high end was tamed a bit which I much preferred - I ended up punting it on tho cos I couldn’t live with the ‘slippy G’ string. It’s definitely a looker, I agree tho MusicMan seem to be concentrating on these higher end production basses, you can tell they’re an expensive bass when you’ve got it in your hands for sure 👌🏼
  15. Does It Really Happen? - Yes
  16. I don’t mind if they are mods suitable for both basses. It’s interesting to see what people have done to the squires all in one thread.
  17. Unfortunately that Reddit group was closed down due to copyright infringement issues.
  18. Today
  19. Easy mistake to make these days. It's hard to tell what's real and what's Memorex when it comes to news stories. Bloody AI.
  20. I do make a multifunction buffer/booster contraption with user-configurable input Z (via DIP switches) that hardly anybody knows about because I hate marketing. You might want to give it a look: https://www.jtex.ca/products/bmb
  21. When I was younger and had to do a class talk or something, Dad used to tell me to imagine everyone in the audience dressed as a clown. The reasoning being that it makes the audience a lot less scary. It didn't work for me 😄. Or you could look at just above the back of the audience, which gives the impression that you're interacting with the audience. Something else that you may find useful is the fact that excitement and nervousness are exactly the same emotion, the only difference is the label we attach to them. Best of luck anyway 👍
  22. Quite possibly but I’m in no rush. I know as a pair they are far better together than singular, I’m not bothered if they don’t sell as I’m using them sporadically. Just fancied a change.
  23. Two Notes Le Bass preamp pedal with various clean and drive options. In very nice condition (very minor paint chips on side/underneath edge as seen in photos) and perfect working order. Lovely warm valve tone, I have the Revolt as well so don't need them both. Includes the original box and manual but no power supply: nothing too radical required 12v centre negative. Collection welcome or UK insured postage for £12.00
  24. That is a heck of a find! one of those cabs would go very well under my Treble and Bass 50 crocskin! hellzero on here recommended me this dude https://jonsnell.co.uk/ for valve amps. And Terry Jacob from The Great Little Valve company in Worthing is a genius, GLVC office/Demo room: 17 Selden Road, Worthing West Sussex, BN11 2LL
  25. Got this in a trade on here recently but it’s just not got much use. Between the green Russian and the grey stache that I own I have my fuzz needs covered. This one is two big muffs running in parallel, one of them has a standard tone control, the other has a mid boost/cut. Certainly a lot to play with and a lot of sounds to be gotten out of it! No original box with this but will be packaged securely. Price will include postage in the UK
