  1. Past hour
  2. I had a 550 when they were first released. Mine didn't do the things you described. As the amp is now potentially more than 15 years old it might need a service at Ashdown.
  3. Would love a Triad, but its still number 3 on the want list..
  4. Bump for a couple of great cabs, happy to separate or do a little deal for both… jonny
  5. Babylon Sisters - Steely Dan
  6. Rob answered that one on fb, as seen in @Linus27' excellent post: "I only met John in later life but we instantly hit it off."
  7. I've never played one plugged in, but have been hanging my nose over the Triad occasionally for a while now. Need to investigate further at some point... 🤔 @dmckee Dave, loving the IrnBru!
  8. Who needs an internal metronome when you can shred like a king lol. good points tbh. Cheers for advice
  9. I've just bought one of these and I've had the chance to A/B with an actual 800RB amp... no difference!

I’m looking to renovate a poorly 15 inch cab and wonder how many kgs of Tuffcab would be required if I aimed to apply three light coats? Can anyone provide a guesstimate please?
  11. Always happy to help with a bigger board 😀
  12. Today
  13. I was recording with my Fatfish 32 recently. Sounded fantastic. Pretty much only using the front pickup. Warm and woody.
  14. Welcome Aussie. The Poms will be awake soon and surely know the answer.
  15. I have the 330 and this doesnt happen to me. Defo think there is something amiss there
  16. Next gig for Hurtsfall is Twisted Firestarter at Rebellion in Manchester on 14th August. This is the Infest warm-up party and in previous years has been extremely popular. I played last year's event with my other band and there were still people queuing to get in after the first band had finished playing, so if you are going to this and hope to see us play I suggest that you get to the venue before the doors open.
  17. I think most people know what this is. Incredibly versatile but I just don't use it. Boxed. One small scratch but otherwise clean as a whistle, which I suppose you could say is ironic given what it does to your sound 😜 Can post at buyer's cost or collection / meetup in Bromley (Kent, not Bow) or I get to Rochester fairly regularly.
  18. Thanks Martin - those were the days. I was doing similar in the late 80s Marlborough / Pewsey.
  19. C'mon Si, you know how it works around here. If someone has a problem than can be solved by GAS always suggest that first .
  20. Buy a bigger board. Obvs.
  21. Get rid of the massive chorus and get a TC Corrona Mini…there will be a toneprint which sounds as good for sure. Other options would be to swap the PolyTune for a PolyTune Mini, and the OC5 for the MXR Vintage Octave (sounds the same assuming you’re using the OC2 model on it). Si
  22. If you've got a good internal metronome you'll be fine regardless but I do not 😂 so having a little LED or light circle really helped! I've had a few over the years and they have all held value so it's worth picking one up to experiment as you're likely to get your money back through a sale
  23. I can arrange this. Please let me know where are you located.
  24. Now 540 GBP delivered to any door in Europe! Here is my Fender Precision 57 RI Made in Japan. N serial-FujiGen made around 1993. 42.3mm width at the nut, 4.095 kg. Punchy and powerful sound. Shipping to Europe included. Any question please ask. Cheers!
