  2. Really random one here but..... A few years ago my wife treated me to a rather expensive custom made strap from Bear straps. It a lovely thick piece of dark brown leather (smells amazing too). On the underside it is a smooth suede finish that seems to absorb sweat and leaves a darken patch on the strap. Ive tried various leather cleaners and waxes etc but the suede just soaks up sweat and has left me searching for alternative solutions before ditching the strap. One thought it to buy some waterproof fabric stick tape to apply to the underside which may or may not work but wondering if anyone else had had similar issues?
  3. Bump, make me an offer if you like it
  4. Now then, when a man who holds more Mesa stock than do Mesa buys a new Mesa unit we should all sit up and take notice 👍
  5. Fast Licks Available Through Stainless rws?
  6. It does sound amazing through a 4x12"! Can confirm!
  7. Thank you - I can't find a Bossa bass anywhere in the UK. I have another Bossa guitar that was Brian Monroney's (Tom Jones etc) and it's my #1 💛
  8. Very attractive subtle colour and great grain.👍🏼

  10. Wouldn't work, part of the tone was the direct result of the gravitational field that was itself the result of the mass of the cab
  11. Thank you Mike, message sent. Kind regards
  12. Hi everyone, Up for sale is this SahBro? Brass Section Fuzz. A cool Brassmaster clone in a 1590BB enclosure. It's a nice option if you're looking for that particular kind of fuzz sound, but it's not in a giant enclosure at a larger price. It's got a few dings, but it all works as it should. Here's the reverb shop I got it from: https://reverb.com/uk/item/83850271-sahbro-audio-the-brass-section-brassmaster-clone I'm asking £90 for it. Price includes postage. Below I've attached some quick sound clips too. The signal is a P bass with Chromes, straight into an RNDI. Brass Section Samples.wav Cheers!
  13. Lets just say that when I jam with my kids it doesn't quite sound like this:
  14. Great little amps, had one years ago and in a glam/sleaze rock band used it at rehearsals on rhythm guitar duties to make things easier than carrying full amp/head set up, worked surprisingly well, and connected up to a 412 made a wonderful sound.
  15. Definitely and I appreciate your insight. Personally I am not particularly active on social media and would not talk about this stuff with friends and particularly not with certain family members 😱 So I read comments on BC, the company intranet and BBC news pages to get some perspective about what people think and what they prioritise. I find it very useful to try and second guess the direction of travel. It appears to be off a cliff 🙂 economically i see no solution to inflation, debt or sluggish growth. powers that be are impotent and lacking in vision or mandate. culturally the polarisation is becoming more pronounced and zealotry is rampant in both camps. debate and acceptance of differences is becoming a lost art. the vultures are circling within and outside and the clock ticks. have a great weekend everyone 👍
  16. I’m doing ‘ My brother Jake’ tomorrow night, depping in a band with some friends. We do ‘Wishing Well’ in our duo too, always goes down well. What a talent Andy Fraser was, and so young when he recorded all the classic Free stuff.
  17. She's got a bit of an advantage to the rest of the world given her dad is Hovak Alaverdyan who is in the band Octavision with Victor Wooten on bass!
  18. Sold a couple of straps to Alejandro this week. Super easy and quick transaction and a really nice chap. Highly recommended 👍
  19. One of my favourites from Earl falconer , along with Impossible Love
  20. 100%, but that's the gig. The thread is about cultural appropriation and I tried to explain my experiences with it in the workplace.
  21. Hi Robbie, If these are still for salw I'll take them. Please message me withyour contact details. Thanks,Mike
  22. Superfast comms and postage, I think maybe the quickest deal I've ever done on the forum. Thanks Simon!
  23. And is exactly what I thought whilst posting. Apparently, if you liked the first movie and set the bar fairly low, Tap2 is OK.
  24. I have 12 to learn for Monday. The last one I charted today (I was only given the list last night) was UB40’s Kingston Town, an interesting take on the classic root/five.
