  1. Past hour
  2. I keep coming back to this. I love the clean lines and simplicity, but sadly the colour's really not for me. It's got me thinking how much would a refin cost! 🤔 GLWTS.
  3. That reminds me, I did have one break on me - one of the telescopic sections blew past its stop (because I was being a twit and I helped gravity plus the heaviest part with the legs to extend it at great speed) and bits of it came flying out and disappeared on a dark stage - oops! I reported this to them via the shop I bought it from (possibly glossing over how it came to break, lol) and it was a no quibble straight replacement - send the broken one back and they sent me a new one right away. Seems like they stand by their products, and idiots like me! Yeah, so don't do that then
  4. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  5. The seal is as important as driver count IME when it comes to low end.
  6. Anyone tried comply tips? I didn't even bother using the standard. Have used these on all my non 'gigging' headphones forever so know I get a great fit. Aim once I sell my SVT Skunkworks head is to go custom. Really like the description of the Lugs SI - Dynamic Hybrid (2x Dynamic drivers and 1x High)
  7. Yup, it arrived in late June, so past the point of no return now. Thanks for the suggestion. I've got a Mike Pope preamp sitting in the drawer, though... 🤔
  8. I just received some Hipshot Licensed Ultralite tuners from Pete. Guy's a legend - I was a bit brassed at the end of last month because the car's MOT was a bit of a sair one. Pete very kindly agreed to keep a set of tuners back for me for a week or so until pay day. Deal done, tuners arrived (eventually - courier snafu, not Pete's fault) and I can crack on with my project. Thanks Pete!
  9. I’ve used K&M stands for years, well worth the money and you can almost always get spare parts for them.
  10. Greatest speaker to improve any TC Electronic with 8 inches speakers. GLWYS.
  11. I’ll try that, but my above seemed closest to me.
  12. 👍
  13. This is a fantastic little practice amp that I'm only selling as I'm now using my son's amp in the rehearsal room instead so it's surplus to requirements. In good condition bar the paint on the bottom front corners that has come off at some point. It's mostly been sat on my desk bar a couple of occasions taking to friends house and is from a smoke free home if that matters to you. Selling with 'Poweradd Pilot pro 2' external power pack that fits under the handle for portability - if you don't want this then the amp will be £220. Welcome to try if seriously interested, message me and we can arrange. Payment preferred by bank transfer but will accept cash. All documents included but no box unfortunately so I won't be posting.

  14. Serial number dates it to 2015, I don’t have an accurate weight but it feels a touch lighter than my Sterling, which is 4.2kg. Cheers Steve, are you sure you don’t need a backup? 😉
  15. Sennheiser IE100. I've likely sacrificed a bit of tone (possibly) but tbh they fit, I get a good seal (with standard buds) and as a result they trump the KZs but are double the price... but still only £80!

  18. This transcription inspired me to call this bass-heavy Gary Moore tune on my next jam session @ConstantineIsslamow
  19. Could someone with a Mark Bass Little Mark 250 please look inside their amp, and note down the values, voltage and orientation of the Capacitors C5 and C6 , located close to the output Transistors . ( or does anyone have a circuit diag ? ) PLEASE only do this if you are competent and safe to do so , make sure the amp is unplugged , and do NOT poke inside . The Caps should be clearly visible to a knowledgeable person . Thanks , Mike
  20. No, It was a Fender Elite Jazz V
  21. I’m good thanks Julian. You take care too. Oh yes, I’m certainly enjoying the bass
  22. Sheer madness!
  23. Sound Control in Dundee; I bought a Gibson Flying V there in the early 90s (worn out and so "cheap") and it was a source for tutorial books, accessories etc. when I was an undergraduate there. They closed fairly recently after spending years under another name: https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/money/14363301/music-store-to-shut-after-20-years-dundee/
