It was an Ampeg (V4 I think) cab, very similar to this, that cemented my 2x15 love. I bet it'll sound wonderful.

Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS Candy Apple Red - 30 inch short scale - Good condition - I'm looking to replace with something very specific, so no trades please - Ideally I'd sell in person (I'm based in Reading), but if you have a good packaging/shipping solution I'd be willing to consider it (I've never shipped a bass so not confident doing it)

This is from last year. The trio's percussionist, Mischa happens to be a wonderful electric bass player also. I loved this project as there was so much sensitivity in our approach to each other.

Closest I got were the two Dingwall's I bought. An NG3 and a D-Roc. Loved the look of them and the neck/feel was lovely....... but as Chris Childs said at the SE BassBash, they had one great sound and 4 'meh' ones.... Sold/traded them within a couple of months of getting them....

police squad started following 1991 USA Jackson concert bass. Your thoughts on restoration
-
Basschat massive. My late boss and bandmate's widow is thinking about letting his custom made jackson go. It has laid unplayed for 10 years now. It had done literally thousands of gigs . At least 50 per year for 24 years It has a custom graphic, a Star Wars theme. There is only one other of this graphic which was the original custom build Jackson did but they made it right handed and he was a left. I tracked the right handed one down on here 10 years ago. This l/h one is a bit tatty Should I tell her to get it restored a bit. Laquer is peeling in places Here's a few pictures It has a rewound p pickup by Aaron Armstrong and Kahler bass trem

Those of you complaining about what Facebook shows you must either have the wrong friends or be following the wrong groups. All I see is posts from my friends and those groups I have chosen to follow. Any "friend" who consistently posts crap I'm not interested in gets unfollowed, likewise with any groups. I get the very occasional suggested or sponsored post which I always mark is irrelevant. Having said that Facebook is not installed on my phone or any other mobile devices. I signed up to it using a one-time email address and it runs sandboxed in its own browser on my desktop computer which is used just for Facebook. I only have that browser open while I am looking at Facebook and quit as soon as I am done. While I am looking at Facebook I don't use anything else to access the internet. Anything that pops up in my feed that looks interesting is noted down and checked out in a different browser after quiting Facebook. -
You must be doing something right Rob. Always appreciated. Dave

I've noticed it before that you have a nice funky wrist action on the pick hand on some of your songs that i've never really heard used before Daryl. Think the nearest i've heard to it was Bobby Vega. Very nice light touch too. Dave

Stunning five string bass made for me by award winning luthier Alan Miller - check his web site. Body is walnut with rosewood neck and headstock and a legal ebony fretboard. Kent Armstrong soap bar pick ups with single coil and humbucker connections. One volume knob then three mini switches -one to select single coil on/off, one to select humbucker on/off and one to isolate either pick up use both. Schaller bridge and machine heads, Fender round wound strings and quick release strap locks. Sale to include wide leather strap, hard case and stand. I have included pictures of the construction stages, including changes in design particularly of the headstock. Why am I selling? Simply because I no longer play the type of music this lends itself to and it deserves to be played.

Perhaps I've been brainwashed by the algorithm but I find Facebook okay if you can limit your time on it and choose what you allow it to show you e.g. If you get some toxic political rant pop up you don't want to see you need to click to say you don't want to see more of that, it does tend to do as asked. Turned it on for 5 mins just now and this is what I see: - Messanger notification (a friend sent a link to a song) - Marketplace notification (someone sent a 'is this still available' message for a Bass I'm selling) - Roll down my news feed is: Simpsons meme page post, t-shirt advert, random youtuber doing some click bait walkabout thing in my home town, a post in a drum and bass group asking where a sample is from, train company advert, holiday post from a friend I haven't seen in years, cycle helmet advert. ..... Now none of that is particularly stuff I needed to see, but also no harm done - they are mildly interesting to me, not interesting enough to spend more time clicking through but not the worst way to spend 5 mins. -
The volume is the basic XYZ internal dimensions less the volume taken up by ports and the speakers' back space.
