  2. I guess it depends on your studio costs and what your budget is. If you're good with technology you can do the publishing yourself for free.

  4. One of my favourite flyrigs. I just don’t use it. Basically a boost, big muff, ampeg amp sim and a Boss OC2 clone. It’s the same octave circuit as the Sonicake Octaver and Valeton OC10 which if you’ve seen my octaver comparisons nail that OC2 tone. DI out and fx loop, honestly if it had a tuner it would be perfect. But it doesn’t and I cover most of my gigs with the Darkglass Element

  5. Sorry... "could care less" so 24% of respondents care about this issue? Horrible American mangling of the phrase "couldn't care less".
  6. Wasn't the stage lent to Live Aid by Springsteen?
  7. Actually, having said that, I quite fancy this myself, although there is something about cream pickups that gives me the judders, mind you, easy enough to sort out.
  8. Anytime you want a bass driven up to Scotland just say the word Sir, I have delivered a couple up there, just ask @cetera. I have friends who need visiting so driving a bass up gives me an excuse.
  9. That's awesome, I'm glad you liked it and it helped. Also, don't let anyone tell you that you get less mwah with flats, that recording was done using Rotosound Jazz flats
  10. Might be interested in an Ibanez SR605 or K5 or Warwick 5 string in p/x
  11. There were tarps at Springsteen, but that’s still an awful lot of traffic. That said, grass is very resilient and it was no doubt in tip top condition for whatever the next big footie game was.
  12. Pedal bought from Ashdown as I love their signature range - and It's Guy Pratt - who doesn't like guy Pratt ?? But apart from testing it it has sat unused in it's box. So lets find it a great home. Comes with all the "case candy" including the unused rubber feet. Note that it requires a good quality 18v power supply.

  13. Nice, GLWTS!
  14. Love everything about it. But with car insurance renewal coming up, it's a bit out of my budget!
  15. Reap The Wild Wind - Ultravox
  16. No. Only one track so far a couple of years ago but the band has just got back together after a couple of years of "life" and we want to get back in the studio again to record some of our originals. Not really bothered about making money to be fair but it would be nice to at least cover costs.. I think CDBaby and Distrokid are pretty much the same animal and it's always an option but I'd rather do something more independently for the time being.
  17. The wind cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
  18. I really rate CDBaby to easily & cheaply get music out onto multiple streaming sites, the website's great. I use this for promotion, not for an income stream - I'm not a commercial artist. Not tried Distrokid but I imagine these services are all pretty similar, and the more you pay the less you have to do yourself. Do you put a lot of music out?
  19. Terry Williams said he was very pleased when he rewatched it.
  20. It’s a lovely gig Dave. We don’t do it much in summer as it’s too busy, but once the season is over we generally do one or two gigs a month there. The views both behind us and in front are fantastic, as the venue is on a pier sticking out in the harbour. Only thing to sometimes spoil it is when you come out to find your car covered in seagull sh*t!
  21. I’m exactly the same. Even though I know IEM’s are undoubtedly a good route to take, I know they’re just not for me I’m afraid. Fortunately doing what I do now, it’s not a problem - with the acoustic duo I mostly use a Rumble 100 combo, and anything else with electric just the 500 version. Loud gigs are definitely now a thing of the past for me, which I’m very happy about as I still have a reasonable quality of hearing left!
  22. Did that on the FI v3 a while ago. It’s a bit slower than the proper tempo. Tracking on the v4 is much better than what is heard here: https://m.soundcloud.com/peter-kenney-750235819/qm-aint-noboday-2a
  23. Regarding trades, i’d definitely prefer cash, but i’m always open to hearing potential offers in case it’s something I really want! I could do some recordings over the next few days possibly. Rest assured it sounds like exactly like you would expect it to!
  24. Unfortunately, I no longer have it. It was resold on here, after I sold it when I stopped giging I loved it gigged it everywhere, dives, pubs, clubs, weddings, festivals (2 x Huge Scout Jamborees really) Fed it into a Trace AH350SMX, Trace 2x10, and Trace baby 15 it sounded brilliant. It was the quilted one. I much prefer yours's though
  25. tiny bit of heat and cotton thread, it wasn't stuck on there that well in the first place........GO FOR IT, scratch plates are sooooooo 1980's🤣 (IMHO) what the combination on your's? rosewood? quilted?
