You could possibly make use of your LDS cabs as they sit by adding a high pass filter into your amplifier. And / or, stuff one of the ports to raise the tuning.

Is it your old pedal or one you were watching? So far with the ric at house volume it does definitely fatten up the sound and the Drive option does a bit of breakup when digging it. Look forward to trying it at rehearsal volume with both the P and the Ric

How about borrowing inspiration from the guiding rails on CAM milling systems? Make one rail live and the other earth for the pickup connections using roller bearings and adapt the Seymore Duncan Triple shot system for your own pickup housing? That way you don't have to faff about with pickup switching via the rail system.

On the train home from seeing Pino Palladino and Blake Mills. Sat within touching distance although on the wrong side of the stage so didn’t see anything from the front. Cracking gig if a little low on crowd interaction. Got lucky post gig and managed to grab a very brief chat and handshake with them both as they bolted into a taxi avoiding the crowd waiting out front. Massive hands! 😄 Fender Mustang? Pair of jazz pups and a bunch of switches. Rob Allen 4 & 5 string and a Godin acoustic guitar or some sort. Blake Mills had some interesting guitars too

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
Bluewine replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
Agreed. I learned a few unspoken rules in my band years ago. Don't suggest ideas for new songs or any intros or arrangements. And don’t comment on anyone's playing unless it's complimentary. We might have rehearsed once in the last 5 years. I think some bands are not cut out for rehearsal. We gig enough, we have more than enough material and very in tune with each other musically. I truly believe it's why there are no band tensions, disagreements and the reason we've been together since 2007. Daryl -

Squier 40th anniversary precision bass in red with gold adonised scratch plate. A beautiful looking, amazing sounding precision bass. I don't need to tell you how good these are, there's an Internet full of outstanding reviews for these. I had so many p basses including USA, sire, g&l, yamaha and this imo is the best. Why? It's light, it's super comfortable, super easy to play and sounds fantastic. Ask anyone out there, these are superb. Its in fantastic condition. Hardly used. There is 2 small hair size details that you wouldn't notice, and I never did, and that is it. Only genuine reason for selling is my van is broken and it's stopped me from working, hence I need to sell this to get it fixed. Pick up Leyland Lancashire.

I have hopes/aspirations to make not only standard PB JB and SR models with PEEK fingerboards available but also have them warehoused in the UK so that delivery doesn't require 6-8 weeks wait. (And...the warehousing has already been found.) Ideally it would be great to have something similar in the US as well given the shipping costs are so reasonable. However managing stock and always ensuring there is a contingency of necks available might be a challenge given the lead in times for fabrication...but how that gets managed really depends on the level of demand and my plans are very much led by demand. Yes, when the website is set up there will be a provision for custom orders. I'm loathed to call it a 'Custom Shop' but that's what it will effectively be. Pretty much anything could be possible if you have the 3D model or we can modify one that we already have. Custom fingerboard inlays, compound radii and woods, compensated nuts, fanned frets, fingerboard bindings, coloured weave, choice of fret material, through body necks, custom dimensions, custom decals even twisted neck profiles are possible if there is a 3D model available. Maybe at some point in the far off future true tempered frets might even be possible. The custom orders will be shipped direct from China obviously.

Why the hell would Geddy and Alex give a flying f*** about anyone's 'concerns'? They have nothing to prove, and unsurprisingly have a desire to perform the music they created. They've found a drummer who appears to have no problems with the level of technical ability required. It's going to be entirely down to individuals whether they go to the gigs or not. Betdt of luck to them. If tickets are reasonably priced, I may go along, I haven't seen Rush since May 1983.

Jack Cassidy Fretless - I've just placed on the For Sale page here. The others are non-bass: Eastman DM-1 Gypsy-Jazz Guitar, Zither Banjo, posh (expensive) ukulele...some others too...just can't remember them at bedtime! -
Hi folks, don’t sell much on here, usually end up buying instead 🤣.This thing is pretty special, only putting this up for the usual reasons of too many other basses etc, oh and the fact I need a new van for work!! Any try out is of course most welcome and actively encouraged, kettle’s always on! Weight is 4.4kg. UK sale only and I won’t post. If anyone is seriously interested in this I’m sure they would what to try it first as I indeed would! many thanks for looking kind regards Jeff
