  2. Hey folks I know it's a long shot, but I'm in need of a dep for two gigs with the Jones Jazz Orchestra - Sunday 14th June (afternoon) at Church End brewery in Atherstone CV10 0RD and Saturday 4th July (Evening) at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Stratford-upon- Avon CV37 6YR The June gig is playing funk and latin stuff (which is an absolute hoot to play) and the July gig is a tribute to the Rat Pack (which is also fun to play) Upright would be a lovely bonus for the Rat Pack gig but it's not a dealbreaker. We're a community (ie: amatuer) band so it wouldn't be a 'proper' gig fee but there will be a few quid in it for you. They're a good bunch and they make a decent noise! It's all reading, dots can be provided beforehand. If you can only do one, that's still helpful. Any quetions, please DM me Ta! PS: Please don't be better than me! 😳
  3. Thanks for that, I would be buying either without trying . Sound advice many thanks
  4. Unbalanced TS or balanced TRS?
  5. They most certainly are. Unfortunately i used the box to send out some other older TI's i had.
  6. Re-release version. It’s been used, so isn’t pristine but works fine. Velcro on the base. No original box.

  7. Selling my Darkglass VMT as now surplus to requirements. Slight marks from use. No box but will be packed securely. £100 posted mainland or can be collected from Aylesbury. Tradewise, only looking for a Pork and Pickle smalls
  8. Hot For Teacher - Van Halen
  9. Yeah, quirky band to say the least, they had some really decent songs.
  10. Love my Animal surfing Polar Bear Bass drive. best touch Dynamic I’ve ever had on a pedal, low Fain warm breakup to full on distortion but always stays warm. Tone is really your friend on this combined with your bass main volume. looks Great too around £100 from Andertons.
  11. Dropping to £190 posted. Thanks
  12. Now price can be negotiable! 😀

  16. School. Nirvana
  17. Here's me going over to the darkside at today's rehearsal... Used a Helix into my 1500w 6x10 bass stack and it sounded great! Fingerstyle too.
  18. I have had a few trade offers, but, just to clarify, I'm not looking for a trade. Thanks
  19. Go for the Yamaha. Is a well known brand and a respectable product and you will be able to sell it later. Franconia appears to be quite obscure and you will likely struggle to ever shift it if you want to upgrade. That said, if you try the Franconia and it 'speaks' to you and inspires you to make beautiful music then it's probably worth every penny.
  20. You could say it's rare, very few Mustangs have been used as a shovel on a building site. I can see why it may not have been played for 10-15 years, the site foreman still used it. Would love to see the routing under the second control panel.

  22. Oh but the inclusion of the No Parking sign in the shot, while a car is clearly parked there, aims to signify the rebellious attitude of The Real 1950s Rock 'n' Roll as embodied by the young artists of the time and ... [cont'd on p.97]
  23. In with the guitar tech. Had a look at the preamp and I think Stevie Wonder fitted it under Ray Charles instructions. Sounds phenomenal right enough when it isn't playing the radio.
  24. It’s definitely the lightest stingray 5 that I’ve ever played!
