While I appreciate the GH auction wasn't mentioned the auction itself was in early 2024, so anyone questioning the accuracy of the listing and authenticity of the bass itself could easily (easily!) have done a search off google and found the GH listing within a few minutes, tops.

I phoned G4M ,and they noticed the difference in price but they said that unfortunately they can’t reduce it and is £749. No problem with the service ,and the chap I spoke to did look to see etc. I told him I’ll wait and see if the price does go down . No biggie worse things in life . -
I'm still in! I haven't been on here for a good while. I think the two may be linked...

Ublock Origin is now obsolete but there's Ublock Origin Lite which I use (in my case, with Chrome, and I also use Ghostery and Stands adblocker).

This is a Fane Sovereign Pro 8-225. The cast aluminium version of the Fane Sovereign 8-225 used in the Easy 8" Cab Build Thread. It is slightly heavier and has a flatter response than the non-pro version. I bought this to fit into an old 8" PA cabinet, but it was a little too deep. It has had virtually no use. The foam was use when I was trying to fit the driver into my old cabinet. I will include a new strip of foam. The original 8-225 was selected, as its upper response makes up for the lack of a tweeter. However, if you prefer a flatter softer sound, this is the driver for you. Pro 8-225 Datasheet-

I received a reply to my query from G4M today , stating that while it’s not typical, the costs of paints and finishes differ. It’s not something I desperately need , so I just asked if the price drops again to please let me know . It would’ve been a birthday present to myself in December ,or today being Black Friday etc .The black is nice too , but I’ll see what gives.

You're welcome. It only takes about 5 to 10 minutes and saves a fortune unless you have to start each gig with super bright zingy strings.

So following on from the Morrisey hate expressed on here a by quite a lot of members who clearly dislike the guy.May i ask why that is ?What has he actually done or said to curry this hate. I genuinely don't know so i thought id ask. -

Not really necessary if you're not putting cab corners on, although I suspect that rounding the edges would make them a little less prone to damage. If you are putting cab corners on, they need to be flush with the faces so rounded edges are a must.
