Monaco vs Silverstone II - Up in front of the 4K cameras this week. Thank you @stevie for the opportunity to review LFSys. I’m looking forward to putting this video together. #LoveBassGear

casapete started following GK passive/active inputs and Right side strap?

Albert Collins was another guitarist favouring the ‘wrong’ shoulder.
-
Fender, Peavey, Hartke, Trace Elliot and Ampeg have all used active/passive input options at some point. This does seem to have mostly died out now though, with just the input level control handling the job. ( More than once I’ve plugged a bass into the ‘wrong’ input, so suits me. ) 😆

Some Euphonic Audio amps do. My PJB Briefcase has an Active/Passive switch.
-
Ashdown do. I've only encountered one bass (an Ibanez, don't know the model) where the active input with its attenuation was the one to use - all of my active basses have outputs on a par with passive basses.
-
I was able to test the Goodwood prototype against my Monza, and for low volume use I couldn't tell the difference. This was with an iAmp doubler, which is around 450W at 8Ohm, this is no problem for the Monza but might embarrass the Goodwood as a sole cab.

In case a certain customiser should decide to add two more tuners at jaunty angles, add two bridge saddles, and ram a couple of Strat pickups into the pickup routs. -
barkin started following Right side strap?

Likewise I can't recall any bass players off the top of my head, but Tony McPhee played guitar like that.

Not sure how it was carved but it looks like he's been using it to unclog his toilet.

Well I did kinda assume as much, so do many other amps have this? Can’t say I’ve seen it, thank you

And after vowing not to buy any more basses from the US , I found one I could not pass up. There’s several originals around town , but none are about to come up for sale. I’ve had my eye out for one for some years now. This reissue came up on a forum I frequent , and I had to get it. On the way , should arrive Tuesday. I’m excited. https://i.postimg.cc/YCV5ccHq/IMG_2377.jpg Harmony H-22 reissue

Hellzero started following GK passive/active inputs

Simply because there are active basses (with higher output level and low impedance) and passive basses (with lower output and high impedance), and these two inputs are better adapted to each of them electronically speaking.

We are waiting to hear what @funkle reckons about his, when it arrives. My personal experience of two Monzas, is that they are completely FRFR and it looks like the Goodwood has been designed with the same parameters, just less power handling. The Monzas reproduce exactly what you put into them with amazing projection and sensitivity. An added bonus is that you can hear yourself, even when close to the cab.

If you expect to change pickups, get a Squier 40th Anniversary (if you can find one). If you want a vintage 60s sound you won't need to change a thing.

I've been considering a BF One10T for a while now to use primarily at home and low volume gigs. I love the BF 12" FRFR cabs for their clarity which I find perfect for my alembics, and do wonder whether the One10T may be too 'voiced' in contrast as i have no affinity to vintage or classic bass gear. So, these LFsys Goodwood cabs seem interesting as they claim to be FRFR speakers and might just be the ticket. I will be watching this thread with interest and holding my cash until I can make a good informed choice.
