In theory a decent idea. However in practice, especially for live use, every additional connection adds another point of potential failure and a patch bay will add 2 for every device connected to it. Also connections that are made and broken on a regular basis tend to be the ones that fail first. If you find yourself changing the routings you use on your pedal board a lot, there are two things you may want to look at: 1. Have your patch bay normalised so that the most commonly used configuration is hard wired into it without needing any additional patch cables. 2. Look at one of the MIDI controlled routing systems where all your devices are attached to a master controller unit and the various routing are made from that.

Most decent building contractors have a waiting list of at least 6 months. A tax on property over £500K may sort this out though particularly in London and the South East. -

Only the weight, not much in it though, from about 7.5lbs to just over 8. All play and sound pretty much identical.

10 minutes in and realise.... * mildly surprised Claypool's not English! (dunno how I got that idea) * more "let tell you about my whole life" rather than an interview. A great style and service from Beato * how nice it is to watch YT vids embedded, no ads!

People who buy a house, then put an extension up, or convert the loft, within six months of moving in. If they did it within a month, then it was clearly part of the plan when they purchased the place. If they did it within six years, then the family grew, and needs more space after they purchased the place. But six months just feels wrong.

It is weird! I was going to say that with round core especially, make sure you've got a nice strong bend in the string before cutting so the core can't 'slip', but it's odd that the others were ok, suggesting you'd likely done that. Don't want to teach you to suck eggs etc
