  1. Past hour
  2. Yup 😅
  3. This bass no longer has a BA2 bridge, it sounds just as amazing with the standard bridge. Will consider a part trade for a sire V5 5 string or Yamaha BB1025/X and cash.
  4. Ooh I stand corrected it has deep dive functionality. It's officially multi fx unit
  5. Also one that many people don't know that I absolutely love is This guy So much good stuff
  6. I've never really thought of it as 'hifi' and it seems to have a nice warm articulate sound, which you might think of as being 'tubey'. I am always using it in front of a hybrid amp on gigs, so it is difficult to say really. I have been told that it does sound great out front, when the DI is taken from the Caveman. The DI does work very well when used on gigs, but beyond that I'm afraid that this is all a bit above my paygrade!
  7. I didnt notice this bit before. Makes it a bit more interesting for me 'The MIDI interface enables deep editing of parameters for amplifiers, blendable IRs, effects and EQ. The IR section includes a SansAmp IR, a curated collection of modifiable IRs, the ability to custom blend them, as well as upload your favorite external IRs. Clear, uncomplicated graphics, and intuitive controls provide ease of use to achieve your desired tones.'
  8. Rarely available 2021 UK limited edition from Fender Japan. As it's a Ltd Ed it is relatively rare and has features not often found on other Fenders. Think Duff. Bargain price IMO. Sherwood Green Metallic 8lb 10 oz. Unusual 12 inch radius Rosewood fretboard, satin maple neck, microtilt. TBX pot has been removed & standard tone pot now fitted. Much better imo. Apologies for photos, I'm old and not tech. 1 tiny lacquer crack next to neck, 1 tiny dimple on top chamfer, both circled in yellow on photos. Anything else is reflections. Thinnest worst Fender "gigbag" ever. Collection from Darlington, however I may meet up within about 50 miles if buyer has good feedback. COURIER! UK ONLY, buyer to organise & pay for it. Other feedback also available. Thanks for looking,
  9. I saw that one earlier this week, stunning looking bass but I have bought too much recently.
  10. Realising that getting in the car and driving home as quickly as possible is the most important part of any gig, my minimalist fits in a pocket pedalboard got the nod last night
  11. Just watched a video on YT where the Reverend guys state that the Triad now comes with a push-pull knob for all three pickups, as well as neck and bridge. Might have been tempted by this but not crazy about the new colours for the four string.
  12. They were made by Yoshi Kikuchi, who originally founded Atelier Z and worked in Rogers shop. You might be thinking of the original MiJ MetroExpress
  13. What a lovely bass, and James is a great guy to deal with. Sadly I can't justify a 3rd USA Spector !! GLWTS
  14. Yamaha MG10XU mixer with mounting bracket for attaching to mic stand (see photo). Barely used. Original box. No trades thanks. Price includes shipping to locations within the UK. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.
  15. Me too. I love a front-ported vertical 2x10. Can't hack the 40hz Bass control on Aggie gear tho. Way too low a frequency centre to be usable as anything other than a cut IMO.
  16. Set of rack mount bars for a GK RB amp. I haven’t owned a GK amp for several years but they would have come off of either a 1001RB II or a 700RB III as I owned both. The bars are complete with all parts including screws. No trades thanks. Price includes shipping to locations within the UK. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.

  17. It's a good photo - it shows all the kit. And it's a lot of kit for the money! There is a whole thread on buying electric pianos here https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/520144-stage-pianos/page/3/ so there seems to be interest in such instruments on Basschat.
  18. I think what it is essentially is a programmable bass driver DI. It’s repackaged, now digital and they’ve stuck a couple of extra features from the fly rig. Might be a better choice for someone who likes the T21 brand/sound and wants a simple throw in the gig bag unit. Looks pretty easy to use over a multi fx, no menu diving, mobile phone apps and all the stuff folks here and on TB complain about with some of these multi fx units. Too much to get your head around and they then get let in a drawer for 2 yrs or you’ve got something with the processing power to fly a fleet of 1960’s spacecraft and mange the control room too! Perhaps just a T21 diehard wanting midi integration of that classic sound? It’s not being branded or sold as multi fx if I’m reading the website correctly it’s a BDDI with added features rather than a very poorly realised T21 multi fx unit. Oh and it looks cool as… big and chunky, black, sturdy casing. Plus brands need to keep ‘innovating’ cause we all love to talk about gear on here 🙂
  19. Do I have a signature sound? I do believe I do. It is the sound of a tepid pie being being flung against a sheet of plexiglass. Whether it's a passive P strung with flats, or the active Jazz with rounds, Bass VI, Aerodyne, Rick, Hofner violin or a semi-hollow bass, it is always the same soul crushing ill-defined thrum. Doesn't matter if it's through the big Trace rig, small TC combo, a borrowed amp, direct to the desk or through a myriad of effects it is always this way: it truly must be, as they say, all in the fingers. Apart from when I play with a pick - when it is, inexplicably, much the same. I hope this does not appear boastful to those still searching for their signature sound as it has taken many years of changes big and small to arrive at this lofty plateau. Weirdly, in the mix it always sounds ok. I am utterly convinced I hear with different ears when I'm playing versus when I'm listening back.
  20. Spector NS Pulse II 5 string in immaculate condition. Black stain mat finish with black hardware, upgraded pickups and pre amp with EMG 40P5 at neck position and EMG 40DC at bridge position with LHZ3 pre amp. EQ controls are volume, blend, bass and treble. The tuners have also been upgraded to Gotoh 350 Res-o-lite. This bass has a bolt on roasted maple neck. It comes with a Spector padded gig bag. I’ve had this bass around two years. It has no dings or marks, plays great and sounds fantastic. Only selling as a nasty bill has arrived and I need to get the money from somewhere. No trades thanks. Collection preferred, I live approximately 15 minutes from junctions 14 and 15 of the M1. I will ship however if the buyer wishes to arrange their own courier. The bass has its own gig bag and I have proper bass shipping boxes that it will be sent in. Please note, I took the photos myself and I am blind. I’ve tried to capture the bass as best I can so please bare that in mind whilst viewing them. Spector NS Pulse II 5 proof video.mov
