Second this - the TC Corona mini is as good a chorus as you could ever need and the toneprints are fantastic, and it takes up very little space

Hi all Moving this on as I’m realising I’m just not really a PJ guy. Awesome, really well made bass, that I’ve had since new and made quite a lot of modifications too: - New tort pickguard, original included - Noll preamp imported from the states, vol/blend, bass/treble, dual passive tone control - Saddles swapped to quality slotted ones for vintage look and more control over string spacing - Battery box installed - Delano Hum Cancelling bridge pickup The upgrades add up to about the same price as the bass I think! There Is some play wear on the body, some buckle rash and a mark on the front but nothing major. weight approx 4.1kg Have a box so can post or pickup from Chessington or Central London.

I had a 550 when they were first released. Mine didn't do the things you described. As the amp is now potentially more than 15 years old it might need a service at Ashdown.

Rob answered that one on fb, as seen in @Linus27' excellent post: "I only met John in later life but we instantly hit it off." -

I've never played one plugged in, but have been hanging my nose over the Triad occasionally for a while now. Need to investigate further at some point... 🤔 @dmckee Dave, loving the IrnBru!

Who needs an internal metronome when you can shred like a king lol. good points tbh. Cheers for advice

I've just bought one of these and I've had the chance to A/B with an actual 800RB amp... no difference!

I’m looking to renovate a poorly 15 inch cab and wonder how many kgs of Tuffcab would be required if I aimed to apply three light coats? Can anyone provide a guesstimate please?
-
Always happy to help with a bigger board 😀

I was recording with my Fatfish 32 recently. Sounded fantastic. Pretty much only using the front pickup. Warm and woody.

Welcome Aussie. The Poms will be awake soon and surely know the answer.

Next gig for Hurtsfall is Twisted Firestarter at Rebellion in Manchester on 14th August. This is the Infest warm-up party and in previous years has been extremely popular. I played last year's event with my other band and there were still people queuing to get in after the first band had finished playing, so if you are going to this and hope to see us play I suggest that you get to the venue before the doors open.

I think most people know what this is. Incredibly versatile but I just don't use it. Boxed. One small scratch but otherwise clean as a whistle, which I suppose you could say is ironic given what it does to your sound 😜 Can post at buyer's cost or collection / meetup in Bromley (Kent, not Bow) or I get to Rochester fairly regularly.

Thanks Martin - those were the days. I was doing similar in the late 80s Marlborough / Pewsey.
