  2. How about £600 each or £1000 for the pair, I've better things I could be using the cash for at present 👍
  3. Likewise to a degree. I'd never go out of my way and spend top dollar on such things. This was something I stumbled across, took a punt on as it was priced less than the value of the guitar itself, then did the research on and found out it has some quite amazing signatures. Scott Rowley, who was the Chief Editor for Classic Rock Magazine (who ran the event) has responded this morning essentially confirming it's legitimacy (and offering to help ID the last 3 or 4 signatures) as he signed it himself, which gives me a great trial of provenance along with the pictures of Alice, Steven, Francis, Rick, Ian Hunter and Lisa Ronson holding the guitar. I've no desire to sell it, I think it's unbelievably cool and something I want to hold on to.
  4. I Want A New Drug - Huey Lewis & the News
  5. This is awesomely chaotic! Love it!
  6. If that was a 5 string, I’d be posting to say that I wish I could afford it! 😂👍
  7. Buy it ... that's no brainer.
  8. I already teach pickup winding at my workshop fairly regularly - a few more folks through our hallowed portals won't cause an issue 🙂
  9. @lurksalot Intense. I wasn't sure at first, but the sound is good so kept going. I did get drawn in. The intensity starts to lower and then picks us a bit harder. The drums are done well. They have a live energy about them, that must have taken a lot of fiddling. The performance is unique and holds it's own style. It left me feeling like I'd experienced something. Lots of points awarded for that alone.
  10. Used Orange Crush 15 guitar amp. £25 collected from Torquay.
  11. Fantastic clean sounding active DI box. £45 including UK postage.
  12. Medicine Jar - Macca & Wings
  13. I Need A Doctor - Dr. Dre
  14. What a cool story. I’ve never really understood the appeal of signatures, if I’m honest, but it’ll make a wonderful conversation piece for the studio!
  15. Hammond?!
  16. Not surprised it’s on its way already. Incredible attention to detail in your spacing up this bass - and a gorgeous result!
  17. I'm also done, I was reminded of the whirling dervishes and the noises I produced seem to be consistent with that EZ drummer , Fleabass, guitar and keys all through waves gtr3 and messed about with , splash of ozone 8 and there we go !
  18. Beautiful bass, lovely pix - thank you. GLWT… trade!
  19. Burning Love - Elvis Presley
  20. Hehe, my pleasure!
  21. I'd be interested in an SR5 neck, depending upon anticipated cost. I was looking to get a Status one when they pulled the plug.

  23. I'm loving the Euro 4 LX but struggling to get the best out of it with the band. We're playing alt rock, inspired by Teenage Fanclub so fairly chilled out. I'm running straight in to an Ashdown ABM 600 but having to cut the high mids and treble and play with quite a light touch to tone stop it sounding too aggressive. Any tips for getting a bit of character back in my tone while sounding good with relatively clean guitars?
  24. The drunk who says they can play the triangle
  25. Disco Inferno - The Trammps
  26. @police squad, I do like the sound you're getting with both pickups.
  27. Thanks sincerely for all the kind feedback. Good to hear from you Alex, hope you are well mate. Steve.
