    This is typical of what happens with new management. We have a great relationship The Harley Motor Restaurant. We get on great with the staff and manager, comped drinks and food. However, the manager has absolutely nothing to do with the bookings. It's done by a 3rd party agency that could turn on as at anytime for any reason. Daryl

    The best guitar stand is a nice big speaker cab where you can rest your P bass, with 2 equidistant strap buttons on the base, against it. But that is pretty niche.

    Turdburst actually refers to those finished where cruddy browns that face into slightly less cruddy browns or sometimes orange and yellow for some inexplicable reason. But let's not split hairs as they're equally appalling. Antigua burst is more like a snapshot of an engorged bubo exploding.

    Since developing arthritis in my fingers I’m playing a lot less and thus am moving on much of my bass playing kit, keeping just a few essentials.     Indeed! It was recommended reading as an undergraduate. It's so good I appear to have bought it twice.

    We've had this twice and it is frustrating. I think the answer is always that you never get to the bottom of why. On both occasions I know that we had punters regularly asking the venue(s) for us to return. Both nights were packed, we played well and filled the dance floor. I put it down to the booker just not getting the band's style. I guess there are lots of bands jostling for positions that are limited and they have their favourites.
