Early era neck through Warwick's like this are unparalleled, they sound fantastic.

These are incredibly lightweight and rather nice basses. Mine is a rather fetching red - but there are times when I wish it was this stunning colour. What a really nice gesture to donate the sale proceeds to a worthy cause - good on you 😀 GLWTS

Now £350.00. This amazing emulation of the acoustic control corporation 360 preamplifier with variamp and built in fuzz is up for grabs. Hand made by the renowned JC Maillet and commissioned and imported by myself at great cost. I have used the 360+ for studio recordings, gigs, rehearsals and at home, it has never dissapointed. The preamp sounds fantastic and the fuzz section is the best I have used. I have owned this pedal for a good few years from new, as can be seen it's in pristine condition. Specially sourced UK power supply also included. Will happily run from other sources with the right leads (I used it with a trex chameleon). Fully detailed printed instruction manual also included. I don't know who originally made it but I've had it a couple of years and added a Thunderbird neck. It's had a Rickenbacker 5 string pickup, so will need re-routing for another shape. Has a KiOgan wiring loom and the cavities have copper conductive tape. Paint job - not good - Halfords finest put on too quickly and not sanded down. Top is finished with a vinyl wrap (which doesn't hide the paint inconsistencies underneath). Great if you want that 'Rat' look.

The Gillet basses are fantastic being innovative, unique and very well made. I tested some early prototypes for Mike and gave him some feedback. I've always been on the lookout for an upright bass sound from a bass guitar and these came close. Being a long scale fretless player, I did not want to spend the time getting the intonation sorted for a shorter scale so I did not buy one! Probably also a bit of a niche market for them but this is a rare opportunity for someone, surely as there are not many Gillett basses out there?
