  2. I don't get the urge to make amps look pristine but make guitars look relic'd. I love the look of a relic"d amp. Amps have a far harder life than guitars on the road. This one looks superb. I'd leave as is. GLWTS
  3. Price Drop to £150.
  4. Decided to sell individually as well as possible job lot(s) £120 for all 14 pads or £15 each plus postage. Thanks
  5. U.K. postage is around 70 on Shiply so would let this go for £400 delivered Thanks
  6. I have owned one of these in the past. Don't be put off by the shape - I found mine surprisingly ergonomic - it balances well and the top edge of the body formed what I can only describe as a "shelf" for my forearm to rest on. Really quite pleasant playing experience, and sounded good too. I felt enriched and enlightened by the experience of owning and playing one. And yes, you feel like a bloomin' rock god when you're playing it - you will throw shapes and pull faces. GLWTS!
  7. Here's a montage from the Hertford gig last Saturday by U2 Tribe

  11. This is the one. The blurb. The bass: It’s the bedrock of any performance, demanding nothing short of tonal excellence. Enter ReVolt Bass, a forward-thinking all-analog 3-channel Amp Sim primed to serve as the beating-heart of your rig. The latest-iteration of Two notes’ critically- acclaimed Amp Sim solutions has been engineered with a singular mission: to empower players with the ultimate in foundation tone. Forget any preconceptions of a run-of-the-mill amp-in-a-box, preamp or DI: ReVolt Bass stands-apart. It’s inspired by a trio of iconic tones; It’s fuelled by 200V and genuine tube power; It’s born to assimilate into a myriad of usage scenarios; it gives you edge when you need it, thanks to an integrated Drive Channel Dry/Wet Blend

  13. There's my former YC8 for sale in France here (with my photos and ad in English as Anthony kindly asked to use them): https://www.zikinf.com/annonces/annonce-2374016
  14. Just spotted a Schecter P5 on Rich Tone’s website, these have a 35in scale so that’s definitely one to add to the list.
  15. Selling this bass as I originally picked it up as a backup to my main touring 4 string, a white MM with all the same mods. They’re both great basses but I don’t have as much need for a direct duplicate as I used to and it’s too good to be sat around not being played. I had it re sprayed with this smokey black burst which maintains the look of the natural grain. It’s picked up some nicks and scuffs which I’ve pictured. I love the way it looks and sad to let it go. The neck has a beautiful flame to it and it and the fretboard are unblemished. Fitted with a John East MM preamp, hipshot drop tuner and schaller style strap locks, otherwise all original and in great condition. Will ship in UK for £30 or meet in London area. Open to offers and happy to answer any questions. Thanks! James

  16. On the original SuperP a ‘new circuit was employed. It had mid point detent which was wide open at the mid point. Turning the tone control back worked like a tone roll off- standard. Rolling it forward introduced a ‘mid scoop’ but it wasn’t really that practical.
  17. Thank you guys, I should add that weight is also a consideration. I bought a full fat US stingray back in March (4 string) and apart from realising ‘rays aren’t really for me, the thing is heavy, so it will probably end up in the for sale section in order to fund something P/5/tasty.
  18. Morning! Not something that I can do right now but I am gathering information on amps. I would like my tone to be largely shaped by the bass and pedal board. I currently have a laney amp stack after a spotting a good deal a while back. While the Laney RB9 is not a Class D does it add character or is it transparent? What options for ~300W class D amp heads stand out for balance of reliability and not shaping the tone? Am I best off repurposing a PA amp? Thanks.
  19. Instead of replacing it straight away, try putting on 2 or 3 trussrod washers. This will give you a few extra turns and usually solve the problem. It's a standard fix and costs only pennies (well, couple of quid probably). Just undo and take off the trussrod nut, place washers over the rod thread, then put the nut back on and slowly tighten it to the ballpark of where you had it before, gently flexing the neck straight as you do to take the load off the trussrod as you go. Fine tune from there. Hope that makes sense!
  20. Phil Jones Bighead Pro HA-2 In great shape, works perfectly but no longer needed. No USB charging cable or box. UK Shipping included

  21. I'll post more pics when the parts arrive. One pickup is not working, but found one on eBay USA for £80 inc shipping. Bridge, tuner bushings totalled £90. I only paid £60 for the Twin Caster and the body and neck are in superb condition, so not too bad.
  22. Thats crazy - I thought that was the purpose of Reverb not facebook marketplace!
  23. I bought Clarky’ TRex power supply, excellent item, well packaged, great comms and prompt delivery, what more do you want. Superb.
  24. I have been extremely lucky to have commissioned a Zemaitis bass, back in 1989 when Tony was still producing guitars from his quirky garage workshop. My 'Z' is also a fretless which makes it rarer than a rare thing. One (fretted) made the cover of Geddy Lee's 'Big Book of Bass' There are two phases of Zemaitis, the original made by the man himself, and the Greco manufactured current line. Never seen either for sale on here. Wouldnt mind a Greco era one but ony if is it wasnt LP style. Dont like LP syle basses.
  25. Paul bought a T Rex power supply unit off me and everything was hunky dory! Many thanks!!!!
