For sale is the Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 which has the AUX input as well. Great sounding pedal with amazing ability to sculp both the tone on the preamp side and the distortion on the drive side of the pedal. There is some very impressive sounds that can be had out of this pedal. The pedal comes with the original box and all the goodies that came with it. I bought this pedal 3-4 years ago but the sound is a bit too much for the bands I am in. I was always hoping to use it but it has literally sat in the box the whole time. I had thought I might use it also as an emergency DI for gigs but I have never needed it. Possible pedal trade options would be Origin Effects DCX or IE Frantabit. Possible other option would be towards Bergantino HDN/HD 112 or Mesa Subway 112 cab. If I was playing heavier music this pedal would absolutly be staying. £270, £250 including postage. Bank transfer or PayPal F&F.

Im looking for a new cab and seeing lots of decent ones cheap but with really battered and torn tolex. It it a big or expensive job to replace the tolex on a 4x10?
-
I've had TI flats on my PJ5 for about 8 years. They're still sounding great. I have an old set of GHS flats on a cheap jazz, and they improved the sound 100%. If I bought another set of flats I'd be looking at Labella this time.

I’ll dig a little deeper into the side by side specs. I have more expression pedals and expression splitters than I know what to do with, with I’ve always use pitching on its own pedal and typically, I’ve found great use for the built in extra of stuff like this. I do think the presets will be a game changer, but maybe I can live without them. Either way, I’m fairly certain one of them is getting added to the collection.

Why does anyone need to hear my negative opinion of their band? There's maybe two or three people who I know, trust and would ask for their opinion about a band I'm in. Generally, if someone wants to tell me how great we are, then I will be gracious about accepting the compliment (even if I won't take it too seriously), but if they have a negative opinion or think that they know more about it than me, then I will give them very short shrift. Similarly, I won't give anyone my (negative) opinion about their band. -

Appreciate that @Happy Jack was already sorted before I happened on his thread, however also an ongoing topic of interest for me! I've come across 3 subs which could also tick the box, which may be of wider interest: Behringer B1200D Pro - 500 W RMS 19.5kg / 43 lbs £239 Subzero 2 x 10 - 1,200W RMS (I've asked G4M for the weight) - normally £500, currently on sale at £380 dB Tech 612 - 600W 600W 19.8kg / 44 lbs £395 No idea how decent any of these are, so if anyone has had experience of any of these, I'd be very interested to know?

This is a very tough, but relatively lightweight (7kg) 4U rack case. Very solidly built, with two butterfly catches to hold each end piece in place and moulded, recessed handles There is a shallow version, but this is the deeper one with 46cm between the front and back rack strips (just over 50cm front rack strip to back of case) Overall external size is 55cm wide x 23cm high x 61cm deep Rack screws included Pickup from Uxbridge area, or I'll courier 48hr for £13

Anyone need a PA amp? Usual excellent Crown quality, this amp has only had light use and comes in a Chord carry bag. Not sure what the total weight is, but the amp on its own is under 4kg, so very portable XLR inputs, Speakon outputs for most users, plus various other options as per photos As well as standard Stereo, the amp can be configured as follows: Crossover Mode (CH1=LPF, CH2=HPF) – this mode enables a LowPass Filter on Channel 1 and a HighPass Filter on Channel 2 at the frequency chosen. LowPass Mode (CH1=LPF, CH2=LPF) – this mode enables a LowPass Filter on both Channel 1 and Channel 1 at the frequency chosen. HighPass Mode (CH1=HPF, CH2=HPF) – this mode enables a HighPass Filter on both Channel 1 and Channel 2 at the frequency chosen. You can also put it into 'Bridge' mode for seriously high levels of output (according to the spec 1.5kW into 4ohm) Pickup from Uxbridge area, or I'll courier to you at cost.

I was very tempted by the XS-100 - having presets to scroll through would make it super useful live. But as I already have an expression pedal and wanting to go for something compact I've ended up with the XS-1, hopefully arriving in a couple of days. Our Alto singer is very excited about this opening up more of our set list to her and I'm equally excited about not having to learn songs in different keys!

basscki started following Fender American Elite 5 string jazz
-
This is a beautiful Fender American Elite in a tobacco sunburst with a maple neck and mother of pearl (I believe) inlays. Sounds fantastic but as I'm ageing I'm getting pains in my fretting hand and drifting back to 4 strings as that seems to aggravate it less. Its in 9.965 out of 10 condition, just a couple of slight marks to the surface of the varnish on the back from a zip, only visible if you hold it at the right angle in a bright light. Comes with a case which is in excellent condition. Collection from Tunbridge Wells, or meet up in London for £15 contribution to my train fare. Possibly could meet up by car depending on distance. If you want it it sent you'd have to arrange your preferred courier and I accept no responsibility once it leaves my possession.

Amaze your friends and embarrass your guitarists by bringing more pedals than them to practice! All you'll need to experiment with confusingly long signal chains, in one convenient package! Almost unused (never gigged) Pedaltrain Classic JR with Truetone 1Spot Pro CS12 power supply mounted and ready to go. Comes in its soft case with kettle lead and pedal power leads (not patch leads). Rough side velcro applied. £200 Inc UK postage "Like a multi-effects pedal, but less convenient!" - me, after spending £300 on a pedalboard and power supply

This is epic helpful. I’m away at an event in London for the next few days, but if I’m still this excited about it when I get back, I’m ordering an XS-100!

They have a stealth version. How’s that eq sounding @dub_junkie have you tried previous Dingwall models to compare? I think many of us are dying to hear how that neve bass boost sounds!

Yes, very enjoyable! I was surprised Marcus Mumford was there. But more surprised at the ‘lack’ of any Fenderyness. I thought it would be a prime occasion to whip out something vintage but everyone went ‘super clone’!

I've come across bands that are musically awful*, but do well because they play what people want to hear and keep the volume down. *As in so bad it's almost painful. -
basscki started following Sire U5 with Di Marzio DP126
-
Selling this "mint", in 2 senses of the word, Sire U5. Its a great short scale bass, very light and upgraded with a Di Marzio DP126 PJ pickup set, Ki0gon loom (VBT) and chrome control knobs. This is the older version with the ivory coloured binding which people either like or not, personally I prefer it. I can't see any marks on it. I've got the old Sire pickups (black casings) which I can put in, in which case the price would be £285. Collection from Tunbridge Wells, or meet up in London for £15 contribution to my train fare. Possibly could meet up by car depending on distance. No gigbag or case but I'll pack it very well if you want it it sent but you'd have to arrange your preferred courier and I accept no responsibility once it leaves my possession.

I caught the tail end of it, and listened to quite a bit on Thursday evening. Whilst I’m not a country aficionado I liked the majority of what I heard - and agree, the house band sounded very good.
